Barcelona 4 - 2 PSG
Never expected to win. My record in cups is poor, and my record v barca even worse. Unfortunately my GK lets me down again and 2 x bounce downs are given. No point trying to make excuses. We will concentrate on the league and hopefully go one better next season.

I spoke about the luck bus earlier today and there's no question it was in attendance today. We started well and got an early lead but PSG were ahead by HT, bossing the match and it felt like we were hanging on for grim death.
We emptied the bench midway through the 2nd half and went for it with 4 up top and an AM in behind and got lucky I guess as the goals started to flow for us. Recent signing Ilarramendi got the equaliser within 5 mins of entering the fray and later found himself with the man of the match award - so cheers for that Derek I owe you one. Jesus then notched the 3rd to put as ahead and Berchiche added a 4th to send our support into raptures.
An extremely harsh outcome for Ed and his star studded side who were the better team on the day but we rolled the dice late on and got lucky.
Champions League no 5 in the bag (the 3rd with Barca) and this is probably as good as it will ever get.
Unlucky Ed, even I wouldn't begrudge you the league title after this.

Well done Livi, great result mate. Ed....always the bridesmaid and never the bride mate...what happened to that half a goal in it
