    Frankfurt 3 - 4 Nottingham Forrest

Great win on the road for Forrest against a team once destined for promotion. They are much better than us squad quality wise but we came away with the three points with Suso once again showing his class. Frankfurt deserved more from the game but we was not that far behind on the stats and put in a good display.

Up to 10th now, our highest placing of the season.

      Villarreal 2 - 2 Feyenoord

A very even game and so we can't complain at the outcome. Feyenoord got the game underway with an early strike giving them an early lead but by the hour mark we had turned the game around and led by two goals to one. Then came the usual sucker punch, we have been in the habit of conceding very late goals in recent matches and this one was no different as the opposition scrambled home a last gasp equaliser.

        Valencia 1-0 PSV

Oh dear, the wheels are coming off! Although Valencia are a quality side, so no embarrassment to lose here.
We matched their C with 5 at the back, and overall we slightly edged the game, but they were more clinical, gg dude
We will no doubt be knocked off top spot against Celtic next game, but we do have 3 new lads coming in, so hopefully they can help stop the rot.

          Villarreal 2 - 2 Feyenoord

No doubt an affair for the books at Estadio El Madrigal. Feyenoord struck first with P_Goncalves completing a lovely pass from O_Idrissi at the the 7th minute mark. Villarreal’s V_Pavlidis responded with two back to back goals, the first in the 20th minute and the go ahead at 58th minute mark of the second, sending the crowd into a short lived frenzy. Feyenoords never say die attitude came in handy in the 90th minute when Melendo equalized the score at two on a keepers error. Both clubs played admirably with Feyenoord having a slight lead in stats with 56% ball possession, attempts at net were equal at 7 apiece.

The big question at the moment, will it be veteran defender G_Trauner’s last match for the pride of the south or will he stay on with the club a little longer? More details in the coming weeks.

            Norwich 2 - 0 Porto

Thats 4 without a win now and without doubt the worst form of the season for Porto. We got nothing from the game and deserved nothing. I don’t see the title as a realistic possibility now which would have been cool but they wouldn’t have gone up anyway so I really need to focus on trying to maximise abs from now on. Wherever we finish we have achieved more than expected with our squad strength compared to most so it’s definitely time for a bit more positive football now
