A convincing display but the finishing was left to be desired. Another game where me misses Fati and Saka, so I expect a struggle to be truthful. But we got over the line in the end despite conceding first. It was our best display for a while but we need more of them frankly and hopefully more wins. There was some good individual displays too which is a nice boost.
On paper we have winnable games coming up so we have big expectations for the next few, as I've said, to salvage our campaign.
A fairly tight game with Manchester City getting the slightly better of the stats as well as the final score line. The away side took a very early lead through Harry Kane but we pegged them back before the twenty minute mark. Things remained close but a second for City with just twelve minutes left on the clock clinched the three points for them.
This could have been a cricket score if we had our shooting boots on. Don’t know if this was a set sheet or whatever we are doing now? It was A vs A and we dominated with 40 shots on their goal but failed to convert the vast majority of them. I think we hit the woodwork about 8 times.
Everybody around us won this week so it’s a case of as we were. Very tough game vs spurs next with Caicedo still out. If we can come out of that with three points….. who knows.
Good performance today though, we’ll take that. Played Tyler.
A real tough challenge here. We escaped with three points and Wolves can count themselves a little unlucky. Ray is a cracking manager and I fully expect that he will keep them up. He’s got the quality, and I wish him all the best in the remaining games! As for us, we look to potentially rest a player or two today before our cup final game on Tuesday. New signing Bellagarde is expected to start.
