DPT SF Second Leg Post Match Reaction

Brighton 3 - 1 Juventus (Juventus win 6-4 on aggregate)

With a 4 goal lead from the first leg this game was a useful one in helping us give playing time to some of our fringe players, however we knew the job wasn't done so we still put out a strong lineup.

Both teams came to attack and it was the hosts who took the lead on 12 minutes, then changed tactics to C while still needing a further 3 goals.

Minutes 21 & 22 were key in this game, on 21 we thought we'd levelled the scores through long time Roma target A_Isak only to see the goal be disallowed. A minute later and Brighton were 2 up and cruising.

Brighton then switched to D, still needing 2 goals to take the game to extra time. I assume a mistake. We switched to P to stem the bleeding and on 29 minutes, we pulled a goal back which led to C vs A once again.

Brighton added a 3rd on 33 minutes and that's how the game ended. We progress into the final having scored 14 goals in the 4 knockout games.

Statistically this was an even game so it stings a bit to lose, but the aggregate score was what mattered. Good game Peter.

I wonder who Tim will be supporting in the final now his boy Todd is out......We'll be sure to send him 2 tickets to the final.
