Barnsley 1-0 Crystal Palace
A good solid start, changed the dynamics of the game and tactical changes were made by both sides, we kept the lead throughout and have given ourselves a great chance in the second leg. However, Palace are no mugs, and with quality throughout their whole side traveling to London for the next game is going to be a very difficult affair. This tie is still wide open, and the winner is likely to face an insane Celtic side. We are honoured to have made it this far, regardless of the outcome of the second leg. GG Palace all the best. -
Celtic 6-2 PSV
Oh dear, unlucky 13 and out for PSV! I guess we had one coming.
Celtic did have the edge on the stats, but it wasn't as far apart as the score line suggests, our keeper didn't fancy it.
Tactically we did ok, but Celtic are a good side, and deserved the win, gg Sam
It was a good cup run, with plenty of abs at least, as I can't see the miracle happening in the second leg.
