Another job done kind of performance. Bristol came defensively and we had to be patient to break them down. We did eventually with the last kick of the first half and scored a second at the hour mark. We had the game in terms of stats and play given how both teams set up, but it's a result you'd expect to be truthful.
We face City next, they battered us earlier in the season, so yes we have retribution on our minds and we'll need to be at or best and some to get a result.
A good win for us against a Leeds side who have been up their challenging all season. After the defeat to Blackburn in the last round we needed to get back to winning ways and the performance was good enough to get a deserved win over a strong side as Leeds have been all season so well pleased. Chiesa getting a double and another from Correa before we conceded a late penalty to give them a goal. Overall, pleased with the result but other sides around win again so we don't really claim any ground.
Well what an incredible game played out at Selhurst Park with twelve goals scored between the pair. We raced into a 4 goal lead by midway point of the first period and then by the time the game was just into the second period Palace had pulled it back to 3-4 and our nerves were jangling. We found another gear though and notched up a further 5 goals that to be honest was very harsh on the home side. Stats were very even, we were just far more clinical than the opposition.
disappointing effort and result from us here. No doubt arsenal are every bit as good as us if not better on paper and giving them a 3 goal headstart left an impossible task. Out biggest issue is once we have a player out unavailable we are exposed. Another injury picked up here was also unhelpful. We didn’t deserve anything from the game. Not exactly a landslide stats wise but enough for them to merit three points at least buy not by a mile.
Can’t win every game and it’s been a really good season so far so can’t complain, just hoping we can get back on track next game.

it's not often the ESMS gods shower me with utter luck, but this game was one of these rare occasions where basically everything went in. 15 rated striker Potter grabbed two goals from two shots, and 14 rated defender Mawson was a tackling machine. We went into this expecting the worst after resting several stars due to disciplinary point totals, but the lads who were selected certainly performed well above expectations. Spurs can feel hard done by here, however we are utterly delighted and know a result like this is super rare. Unlucky mate.
