BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
A bit of a goal fest served up today and it will have been the travelling supporters of Villarreal that enjoyed it the most. Our counter attacking play worked a treat against much stronger opposition in this game where at the half time interval it was very close as we went in three goals to four up following a pulsating 45 minutes. in the second period we stretched our lead by a further three goals with the home side failing to register any further goals themselves.
"We could tell Sunderland had changed it up from minute 1, I thought we would probably still have too much though due to the fact they were missing a couple of key players, we have had a lot of games this season where we have pummelled the opposition on the shot count but not shown that on the scoreboard, today we did, rattling in 9 goals, King Karim the pick of the performers with 4 goals, but great performances again from Tadic, Balogun and Neymar who all chipped in also, we have been so close this weekend to confirming on some deals that would change the way we play and Ive just struggled on pulling the trigger, Kamara is off for pastures new for a fee we couldnt turn down, but it wont change the dynamic and make up of the squad too much"
"The FFO FA want to have a good hard look at themselves with the conference promotion rulings this season, we've got massive massive sides like Celtic, PSV, Frankfurt and FC Porto handing out hammering after hammering week after week, theres some absolute dross in the top flight and only one of us is getting promoted, its absolute madness, anti Celtic agenda in full flight."
"We wont let that tarnish today though as the fans deserve this one, they've been waiting for bloodshed all season and today they finally got it."
Just another day at the office for PSV Though seriously, this good run has to end soon.
We stuck with our recent countering approach, and it worked out well enough, with the stats indicating we were good value for the win.
Good performances for Lodi and Busquets, who levels up too.
All the top sides win again, though Frankfurt and Porto face off next match, so something's got to give.
We face Boro in the cup midweek, hopefully we can make it lucky 10 in a row
Wins against Ed are rare these days, so I will take this one over his Cardiff side. Even game and we got the rub of the green on the shots on/off ratio with goals from Suso and a late 87th minute winner from Buendia sealing the points. GG Ed.
FC Porto 6 - 1 Sheffield United L_Trossard (7,14) A_Belotti (6) D_Loader (46 pen) P_Van_Aanholt (65) R_Horta (73,86)
Fantastic performance this one. We dominated the game and the stats and were very clinical. Couple from Trossard and Horta and some really useful minutes for a few players again. I am really pleased to be massively punching above our weight but even more so considering we are havingto play a lot of squad players to dish minutes out. All the teams around us won and it's pretty much as you were.
Cheers Kels, all the best.
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Fanatics and pundits were privy to a proper football match at Kenilworth Road. Striker O_Idrissi gave the hosts a scare in the 18th minute with a blast that hit the post. But for the most part both sides played a cautious first half. Feyenoord manager Buck horrified that no action was taken by the referee after keeper A_Muric was involved in a clash of heads at the 45th minute of stoppage time; the Feyenoord keeper will be out for two weeks. A change in rhythm for the second half had spectators on the edge of their seats. MoM G_Trauner helped his cause, scoring back to back goals in the 65th and in the 67th minute, putting the match out of reach for the hosts. Luton Towns M_Ihattaren attempt at comeback with a spectacular acrobatic bicycle kick -- easily beating replacement keeper I_Pandur in the 85th was too little too late.
With Sundays win Feyenoord FC’s form has the club unbeaten in their last three matches. The clubs last winning streak occurred in week 10, 11 and 12.
