Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
We did the sensible thing and rested the two players on 8dp. Strong team still out though and we got a 31-7 shot count which unfortunately only produced a draw with Schalke getting a late leveller. Yet another game we dominate but only draw. We are unbeaten in the last 7 league games but have drawn 4 of them which isn't good enough.
Not playing well. Let's see if Roma can take advantage of an under confident Madrid on Tuesday.
PSG 8 Marseille 1
It looks like Marseille just re-sent the previous sheet, which played to our advantage. We were 7 up inside 25 minutes but then inexplicably took our foot off the gas. If it wasnt for a very late goal (on 86 minutes) we would actually have lost the 2nd half. No idea what went wrong, and its a lost opportunity to increase the GD on Roma. Cant seem to shake off Roma, they are playing tougher opponents, and winning, and closing the gap. They also have more depth than us, so its going to be an interesting run-in and R42 could well be a title decider.
A very tight game against fellow strugglers Lisbon, could of gone either way to be honest and it wasn't till probably the last kick of the game when Vlasic popped up to hit the winner. A draw would have been the right result and Lisbon will feel hard done but every team will go through these type of results. Anyways Leipzig move out of the relegation places on goal difference from Schalke, for how long who knows. Onto the cup match next against Crystal Palace.
Dortmund complete the league double over Atletico with a high-scoring victory despite average shot counts. 23-rated Musso had a nightmare in goal. Both games have been closely fought but this lost 6-points have hurt Atletico's season.
Manager Simon Marsh commented "It was looking good when we scored the opening goal but we just capitulated in the second half. We did enough to get the draw but sometimes the football gods desert you. We played a full strength side with no fear of missing more players for the champions league quarter finals. Thankfully we go into that game just missing Vinicius".
Strangely Mabu's shooting reduced this week with a yellow card taking him down to 4 again.

Really good draw for us and throughly deserved. Diego Jota again scoring, he’s been unbelievable since joining.
Against one of the games top managers is even better to have secured the point.
Sadly for us the teams around us got wins so our result doesn’t do too much but it does show we can compete with the best on our day.
Played JB, good luck for the run in.
A predictable outcome for us today, away to a very strong squad without long time Roma target and leader A_Isak due to suspension.
Both managers probably knew it would be 51004A vs 52something C and as per usual, Roma took the lead immediately and we were struggling.
The hosts made it 2-0 on 6 minutes and I feared for the worst. However, we made a comeback with DeKetelaere notching his 20th of the season just 2 minutes later and F_Wirtz drawing us level just after the half hour mark.
At this point, Roma manager Derek Hughes was seen to be pulling his hair out as his one dimensional tactics were failing but Roma restored their lead just before the break.
Into the second half and we held out until after the hour mark where Roma added 2 more on 66 & 83 minutes to put some gloss on the result.
We responded with our 3rd of the game from F_Wirtz but Roma ran out 5-3 winners.
Statistically, we were well worth a point I'd say...we controlled the game with 63% possession and created just as many chances as our hosts did. Perhaps if we had A_Isak available today things could have been different.
The result suggests a close game but it was far from it, we dominated the game from start to finish reducing Rangers to one shot on target the entire game, Coman opened the scoring on the 15th minute after heavy pressure and as it turns out the only goal of the game which is hard to imagine when you look at the stats, but the important thing as always is getting three points as i keep saying we have been here before and drew the game or even lost with those stats, in transfer news we have signed a New DM this week and sorted out our deals for end of season so we will be looking to finish the season strong in preparation for a new era at Inter Milan. gg mate
asked AB what to play, he told me A, so I played it. That’s the level of sheets I’ve been capable of recently and it’s proving in the results. I need to get my head in the game and get out of this vibe.
Good game jase and much deserved.
I’ve got one eye on the Valencia. An end of season switch could do me some good. I’ve probably taken Leverkusen as far as my abilities allow and someone else can step in and level them up.
Nothing really in the game to be honest but our back up keeper made a hash of things at a corner and that was that.
We took a gamble and played a couple of boys a booking away from suspension and it backfired with Saint Maximin getting a yellow so he’ll miss the CL return leg tomorrow. Atletico are also without a striker so it’s a level playing field in that regard.
Can’t understate the respect we have for Marshy and his side, it’s going to be a big ask defeating them.
Anyway well played Drum, positive approach got you the win
