Shocking result, we knew they'd go C, and we continued with the madness of A (I was home 4 hours all weekend I would say). Only positive really is we came back from 0-2 and also got some extra minutes into Gimenez, Ng and Wintle who really aren't good enough to start. All the other big players won, so we drop off the pace, and we sit in 3rd with insane pressure from Celtic and Sheffield United (who will get promoted). Well done Betis on sticking with the C, and we must either start concentrating or just harvest abs for the next manager.
Although the score line may suggest that this was a close game in reality we was never at the races. All three goals came during the second period of play and it was the home side that firstly went ahead on the hour mark but were then pegged back almost immediately after as we caught them on the hop to slam home a levelling goal. Porto's superiority in the game paid off though as they ensured all three points stayed with the home side following a late goal.
Didn't really deserve to draw this one but we showed some good fight to come back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2 in the 2nd half with goals from Malen and Larson. First game with the new team together and it will take some time to gel with maybe some room for 1 or 2 more tweaks along the way.
A key win for Feyenoord FC at the Kingpower lifts the Rotterdam club back into 10th spot. Feyenoords newly assigned captain did not disappoint scoring two goals. The first of two came in the 20th, when P_Goncalves was able to capitalize on a lovely forward pass from M_Pederson. The second came by way of O_Idrissi, who nutmegged his way through the defensive line leaving the ball for the striker to convert Feyenoords 4th goal in the 91st. The other two goal scorers were S_Szymanski with a diving header in the 57th and D_Hancko with the visitors third in the 81st. Match accolades go to P_Goncalves who performed admirably throughout the afternoon. Bad news for the visitors, F_Bjorkan was red carded in the 33rd for a mistimed tackle on keeper A_Areola, the defender will be sitting out the clubs next match.
Good to get a win on the board today. There have been a few games recently where we have played well but not gotten the results we deserved from the games and once we got pegged back I thought we might be in for another one but we persisted and continued playing to our strengths and we managed to get all three points thanks to a winner in the second half.
The result keeps us top and we continue to keep fighting to stay there.

Bit of a scare here, but in the end it turned out ok. We started with the counter, but switched it around at halftime when nothing was doing. After an hour we went behind and started to think it wasn't going to be our day. We then threw everything at them and the goals started flowing. Maybe we need to join the 'Lazy A' club! The stats would suggest we deserved the win, but it didn't feel an easy ride, gg dude.
Keeping the winning run going, and giving our rivals something to think about, all good
