    Barnsley 3 - 0 Leeds United

Really poor day at the office for us today. Very disappointing, we played pretty poorly. Possibly good enough to get a draw on stats, definitely not deserving of a 3 - 0 defeat but certainly a massive under performance.
Barnsley went 1 up and rolled out the big D, don’t blame them, it’s not one of my go to tactics but every tactic has its place and is valid. Of course they went and scored 2 goals whilst playing D as is often the way with ffo. I blame myself really, I should have seen the D as a likely outcome should we have fallen behind and changed to A and gone for it but i didn’t put the effort prior to the game when sheeting so can only blame myself, whilst taking nothing away from Barnsley. Top effort from them.
Well done Anthony, good game mate and you’re doing an excellent job with Barnsley. All the best.
All those around me wining, this has been very costly. Still, onwards and hopefully upwards.

      Barnsley 3-0 Leeds United

Very kind words from the Leeds manager, thank you. This result was huge, and arguably my best since taking the reigns. The love affair with Barnsley continues...even though the long term prospects at Frankfurt are far better (look at that defence!) Anyway, we took the lead, and yeah went D, but thought you'd play P so we had a chance of a double counter too. We needed that to get anything from the game, and to get a win against an in form side and a quality manager really feels good tbh. 3-0 does flatter us though, and I guess the downside of this is that Man City extend their lead - and tbh we would like a new EPL winner so all the best in the remaining games mate. Cheers.

        Southampton 1 - 1 Aston Villa

Southampton a team who are performing very well this season and in this game completely surprised us with their choice of tactics so the manager obviously doing his homework for the club. In short we was rubbish today, even with tactical advantage against I would have expected us to perform better than what we did but at least we managed to scrape a point out of it even if it was an undeserved point.

          Wolves 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

We'll take it, thats for sure. It was a game which had activity but didn't feel like a lot went on but sometimes you just need to pick up these 3 pointers. Nothing fancy, job done and I'm pleased that we rotated a little and got some much needed minutes into some players, as with the squad size as it is, it could be touch and go with some at the end of the season.

But, 3 big points, another goal for Fati, pleasing enough day.

            Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 2 Chelsea

A very well deserved win for the blues, against a Spurs side, in their own back-yard. We took the game to them and Man of the match Fekir sorted it in the last minute of normal time. This performance from Chelsea showed what we can do, but we have to be more consistent if we are to make a challenge further up the league. Good game Ed.

              Burnley 1 - 3 Arsenal

A good win away at a tough fixture but most importantly, we deserved it. We have hit a little bit of form lately mind you we wont get carried away, just nice to win a game that we deserved to for a change. Another brace for Correa aswell as one from Chiesa to complete the win. All in all a good day at the office. Onto the next one...
