Leverkusen 1-2 Inter

Another disappointing loss in this run since my keeper rated up to 22. It seems to have made him worse and cost us this game. Inter have the better players and ultimately has helped them finish us off in a game where Dan olmo got moved into 500 different positions.

The lazy C from inter stumbled at first but a switch into A gave them purpose and the 3 points.

Roma 2 0 Rangers

5th game with our backup GK ends in a win. After a few poor results we needed this win. Even better our 2 title rivals stumbled so we gain a little ground.

Far from convincing but we are grateful for the 3 points. A lot of players leaving tonight - should leave a settled dressing room after this week's chaos.

Listed players who didn't get sold have told been how crucial they are to Roma's double quest and they've once again fell under their managers charms.

Real Sociedad 0 PSG 0
Frustrating game. We lost our best player on 19, and a combination of facing TA, HA, and an extra man, turned this into an even game, that could have gone either way. I believe if we had kept 11 men on the pitch we would have won this game. However, at least it is only a 1 game ban, and felix is back for the CL 1st leg, but unfortunately still as a 23 rater.

Bayern Munich 2-0 SPORTING LISBON

Pretty much a C v C battle for a huge chunk of the game, but once they went one up early and switched to C we didn't have enough about us. Tried to throw bodies forward late on but just not to be today. Not a good day but we'll go again on Sunday.

Lyon 1 - 1 Real Madrid

Yet another daylight robbery against Madrid as a 3-21 shot count can only produce a draw. Lyon went 1-0 up early and went D and never removed the handbreak. Still, with 21 shots, Madrid should have comfortably won this game. But we have been saying that a lot recently, with us not getting the rub of the green in recent games. What can you do. A good point for Lyon though.

Lots of noise on the transfer gossip streets about the future of Courtois who while performing at a high level there have been some questions made of the Belgian stopper despite him now only being 47 abs behind being the #1 keeper in FFO.

Juventus 1 - 0 Barcelona

A brilliant result against one of, it not THE best manager in the game and his very strong team.

Despite Barcelona's recent form, we know they're not to be taken lightly as shown in the previous game (3-0 vs Bayern Munich) but we felt our P vs their P (What we expected to face) could work at home.

Two very similar set ups yielded a very cagey first half with us dominating it, without really causing too much for Barcelona to be worried about.

After going in at the break level, we looked to push on in the second half but the visitors came into the game more after the break and made more of a game of it but it was us who took the lead on 74 minutes after an effort from Antony was almost saved on the line by the Barcelona shot stopper but after a VAR check, the goal was given and we had a lead to protect.

Barcelona came at us with an A tactic at this stage and they piled the pressure on late in the game but we had enough to see the game out and record a very rare win against this team.

Statistically it was an even game, with us shading the shots and shots on target section which probably accounts for the win. It could have gone either way though, good game Livi.

Sevilla 1 - 1 RB Leipzig

A game we let slip through our fingers with a late goal and a change in tactics after we scored but Sevilla scored an equaliser in the last minute and playing against 10 men makes it even more painful but we didn't lose. Martial our scorer yet again he does need some support

Juventus 1 Barcelona 0

No complaints at the result, it felt reading the report that Juve were the better side and just as I was thinking we might get away with a draw or even pinch this they got a fairly late winner. As I say I've no complaints.

Our away league form has been really poor this season and there's no doubt that's why we're languishing in mid table. I'm not one for making radical changes tactically these days so going to have to look at strengthening in the transfer market which might mean sacrificing our 2 youngsters. We've been in discussions with a couple of clubs and it does feel like now might be the time in order to try and improve things - time to get them listed!

Mahrez finally rated up after weeks of trying so that's one small boost.

Marseille have been enjoying an improved season this time around after battling relegation last season. They have attacked of late so Atletico felt trading punches would be the best option. A Vinicius hattrick, Paqueta double and Sancho goal finally opened the flood gates to get Atleticos F column boosted.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "We hoped for an opportunity to score goals and we took that opportunity and a welcome relief from our lack of goals this season. We could do with 1 or 2 more wins like this!"

Good result but given how the game panned out disappointed we couldn't take the three points. Went into it knowing Ed normally sacrifices TA given the quality of his squad and after they had Felix sent off I thought we could win. Ultimately though not many people take something from Ed's team so we have to be pleased with that.

I still think C tactic hates me, i play it we perform so poor, i face it we always concede instantly, today we counter Leverkusen and find ourselfs 1-0 down, our form is erratic at the minute we did not play well today but get the result a little bit of luck we deserve tbh after playing so many games as the dominant side and walking away with nothing, teams struggling at minute even though we are still high in the table things just are not clicking. gg mate

Niall aint easy to play or predict, but we managed to take the game to them, and what we got for it was zero points,

memphis gave us a 10th minute lead, and deserved, but the change from dortmund,

borre and rutter sealed the gme for them on 59 and 64, not much to write up after that, we lost, simple
