    Southampton 2-0 MANCHESTER UNITED

Bad day at the office again, just as we thought we'd started to improve. Left with limited options, so decided to keep what we had and it got picked apart to be honest. Hopefully having 2 forwards will help us next match, and if we can get a change or two get better balance for the squad.

The result is frustrating though, Saints lost two men to injury and still out played us on the day.

      Middlesbrough 2-0 Aston Villa

We was countered for the entirety of this game but can't complain as that is what we expected, unlike the in EFL League where a lot of the weaker teams just roll over to have their tummies tickled by the big boys. The game itself was a very closely fought encounter in which the home side firstly scored right at the death of the first period and then left it to the end of the game to clinch the points with a second goal.

        Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 5 Chelsea

When Andy asked me to sheet for Chelsea today, I guranteed him 3 points coming up and that's what happened verses an unispiring Wednesday team who parked the bus and did not deviate strangely even when behind for a 3-16 shot count and a 1-5 win. Good performance all round from the Chelsea lads who now move back up into the Champions League spots with this win. GG Mike.

          Barnsley 1-2 Newcastle United

Always a tough ask in this league but I love the challenge. We are still not ready to fully compete with the likes of Newcastle but we have it a good go, I’m not sure what else we could’ve done in this game (except win lol) but was good to see new record mental amount signing score a goal on debut. Even though the teams quality is nowhere near the toon we still feel disappointed to lose by one goal! Tough run ahead with Blackburn, Arsenal and Leeds. We need at least 3 points from these games otherwise it will be another fight against relegation.

            Man City 3 - 3 Arsenal

The hardest fixture of the season for a lot of sides in the league, away to the Champions but we can be very pleased with the point that we brought back to North London. Lamptey with another and a brace from Madueke saw us take the lead three times in this game so we can feel a bit unfortunate not to have come back with all three points, maybe had we locked up shop we would have but either way, the stats show City were the better of the two sides which we expected but its the result that matters and we more than deserved a point from this, a top result against a top side and Manager...….your welcome Timbo

              Everton 2 - 2 Leeds Untied

We did not play well today. This is in fact, probably our worst performance of the season. We can count our selves lucky to come away with the three points. Fortunately a couple of the other top teams dropped points so it is not too costly of a game (Cheers Daz)!!
Yeah, probably got the tactics wrong today. I had a feeling we might face a D so gambled accordingly. Didn't work, lucky to get a point and happy to take one. Cheers Will.
