Frankfurt 2-3 Atalanta
Raced to a 2-0 lead then pussied out instead of finishing the job. Forgot to change players positions due to time and general ineptness and it cost us dearly. Thrown away our first position with two dreadful performances. Time to have fun as we all watch Celtic win the league. And well done on the first win Atalanta it’s a good competitive squad that! Done us twice!
Always good to take a (another) win from the fastest two fingers in the game.
2-0 down it wasn't looking good.
It was soon 2-4 as Forest turned around the game.
Johnson saw red though to give the home side hope.
Villareal made it 3-5 as they pressed the extra man advantage.
Nottingham showed their nerves of steel though and scored a 5th goal with a Suso penalty to wrap the three points.
Indeed, it was left to the debuting Suso to show just why Talbot moved mountains to sign him, with the new signing from PSV putting in a man of the match performance and two goals.
Another excellent win. Some fortune thrown in their with our keeper saving a penalty and us benefiting from an own goal. Stats wise though we did dominate so despite the fortune we made our own luck by being the better of the two sides and deservedly getting the win. Good performance and it keep us at the summit. So much still to do and so long still to go. Lots of side weakening to do with the amount of minutes we need to get our squad players.

Unexpected win away from home, Frankurt took the double lead than went C and that helped us catch up. After Taremi and McTominay's goals, a 92 minute Jota's curler gave us the 3 points in the end. Happy with that!
Now another tough game against Leicester, match that is going to be the last for Jota with us, as he is heading to Spain.
What looks like an impressive away performance was far from it if you look at the stats, not that I'm complaining!
We were clinical is the best thing I can say, as we scored 4 from 5 on target. The keepers perhaps making the difference in the game.
West Brom were unlucky, having countered us, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
We made a few changes from last week, with 3 new signings playing and all doing reasonably well, though I think we will miss Suso.
Next up is Frankfurt, which will be very tricky, despite their recent form
Obviously an entertaining game when first glancing at the score line particularly for the neutral but it all went sort of downhill for us following a very bright start. We found ourselves two goals to the good by the twenty minute mark but let the opposition back in probably mainly due to our very open game plan. The goals never stopped coming right throughout this tie but it was the away supporters who went home much the happier.
Travis Buck takes the helm, after sitting in the owners section for the first match . The newly arrived manager was present at the Benito Villamarrin Stadium amongst his players for his second match in charge against Real Betis. Shedding his Brooks Brothers for a track suit, the gaffer made his way to the dugout, preparing his notes for what would be a closely contested first half. The second half was on its way to being a carbon copy, until Betis’ second half substitute Sandro drove a beauty past J_Cillessen in the 84th minute, much to the legionnaires dismay. The lone goal was all that was needed for the homeside to take 3 points.
