Nottingham Forest 0 - 1 Sunderland

Goochy either read us like a book with his A here, or got lucky with the rock, paper, sissors. Got countered. Still won the shot count 14-10 though, more posession, corners and passes. So stats say we should have won or at least drawn, but can't argue when you get countered really.

Got a few offers out as I try and slowly improve this Forest team, hopefully they can get lucky at the mid season auction.

Luton Town 3 - 1 Villarreal

The home side always had the edge in this game and after opening up the scoring on the half hour mark doubled their lead on the stroke of halftime to make it look comfortable. We managed a goal back shortly after the interval via the penalty spot just to make it interesting but Luton immediately regained their two goal lead and that's how it stayed. No complaints from us as the home side deserved all the points.

PSV 1-0 Fulham

Tight game, which we a little fortunate to win. Fulham had the tactical advantage, but we just about made home advantage count, unlucky dude.
Nice to start picking up some points again, and it was that man Suso with the goal again. Which is a shame as I was thinking about selling him!
Also nice to see a couple of uprates, to Kamara and Benitez, as the chase to keep up with the top 3 continues.

Feyenoord 3 - 3 FC Porto

Feyenoord pull a draw out of the hat against FC Porto as midfielder E_Gutierrez leaves the pitch in the the 12th minute due to a pulled hamstring. A match that saw the visiting side dominate all aspects of the field. The goal scorers for Feyenoord were Melendo in the 40th with a lovely header, P_Goncalves showing his ability at ball control by clearing 3 defenders levelled the score in the 44th at two. O_Idrissi with the final goal in the 69th taking advantage of a well timed pass from E_Elmas.

Atalanta 0 - 2 West Brom

Fist time playing E in my short career and i got countered, pretty unfortunate. We dominated shots, shots on target and possession but we didnt find the back of the net, not even switching on A, as we take the second going forward.. A home game I thought could be winnable, but it was not our time yet. Great performance by West Brom gk Iversen who nullified Taremi and Jota attempts.

Celtic 4-0 Frankfurt

Got it all wrong against the best side in the league. Fair play to Sam and the squad he is building there, fully expect them to be in the european places next season. We just as I mentioned, got it wrong. I knew he wasn't going to play A, but even with our P v P I thought we could get something from this game, once they scored first, it triggered a few tactical changes that definitely added to our misery. We move on, and will be happy with a top 5 finish. So we aim towards that now.
