BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
Not good enough, we did expect 'boro to roll out a counter set up, which all bar 4 minutes at the start and the last few minutes they did and it worked. They had large spells of the game, and it continues to be our weakness for huge chunks of the season. Once they scored we levelled quickly as the only form of positive from the game.
Not good enough as we enter the midway point but take nothing away from our opponents who deserved something today for sure.
Shocked by a goal from the home side straight from the kick off we soon found ourselves back on level terms through Mo Salah just five minutes in. By the midway point we notched up two further goals to give us a cushion going in at the break and to put the icing on the cake Salah struck his second of the game to make it look very comfortable on the day. The score line was harsh on Brighton but we just about shaded the stats.
Cant buy a win at the moment even though tactically and game wise we are dominating. Getting too close to the relegation zone now. No league win in 7. This is gonna be a tough back end of the season. Maybe we can try pick up someone at the auction, doubtful but see how we go. Gg mate
This handy win keeps us on track. It was a deserved win and we were definitely worth it.
We were confident going into this, so we went with the P even anticipating their C and surrendering home advantage. We always thought we would have enough even with those factors considered and so it proved.
It’s Man City next up. If we still maintain this run at the end of that game I’ll be delighted. Tough test, let’s see how we get on.
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Up against another side that are usually near us in the table for the third game in succession and this time we return back to North London with all three points. Missing one of our first choice strikers saw us having to once again move Correa up front and he came up trumps with a brace to take a deserved win from a tough fixture. Had we been defeated in this one I think it would have been a harsh result as the stats show we are arguably the better of the two sides and for once, we got what I feel we deserved. Some results went our way also so we move a little bit but we need to get on a run which we just seem to be struggling with at the minute.
