MANCHESTER UNITED 3-2 Barnsley

On another day, we lose. But we managed to have more quality with our end product which was our saving grace. We opted for a set up which when works it's fantastic, when it doesn't it doesn't but once we went one up and changed it up, that was our downfall really. Their passing style was too much on our freedom game on the day and they did deserve better.

Barnsley have done well to get here and hopefully this helps kick them on.

We play Newcastle in the final, going back to 1999 in some respect. But it's a big game whoever you play, and an opportunity to win a trophy can't be sniffed at.

Newcastle United 3 - 1 Arsenal

When you forget what round it is and look at the quarter final fixtures and sheet for that, you deserve to get beaten and that's the case for us as we bow out at the semi final stage of the cup. I cant lie, Im annoyed with myself but it doesn't surprise me, interest has really gone over the last few weeks for me for some reason.

Well played to Newcastle though, a deserved win for them and we wish them the best in the final.

Not every day you edge the stats against the great United. We really did ourselves proud here and can perhaps count ourselves unlucky not to make the final. Tactically did a good job, but yeah their strength and quality in goal really shone through with the clinical shots too. Unfortunately the fairy tale wasn't to be. GG Steve. All the best.
