    Aston Villa 5 - 1 Newcastle United

A pretty open game and despite the score line a game that was also very close. We got off to a flying start going two goals to nil up before the clock had hit ten minutes. Newcastle pulled one back on the half hour mark but two further goals late in the first period for us sent us in at the break in a commanding position. A fifth goal later in the game made this game look a rout but that's not how the game was played out, Newcastle unable to find the back of the net with the same regularity as us was the difference.

      Boro 1 - 7 Spurs

Biggest win of the season but the result is a little flattering. It was a much more closer affair than the result says but for once we made our chances count. From 16 attempts on goal, 12 of them hit the target. We scored from 7 of those attempts. Pablo Dybala got his first hattrick for the club while Myron Boadu scored a brace. He is on 15 goals now. Lucas Perez and Steven Bergwijn got one each as well. Great to bounce back after losing at home to The Owls.

      Played Tyler.

        Leeds 1-2 MANCHESTER UNITED

Not out best but when you go down to 10 men you have to be resilient. We countered Leeds for most of the game and nicked 2 goals, our goalkeeper had his best game for a little while with a big total of saves.

We tried a little variation on our set up, and to a degree, ie the score, it worked, but up to the red card it was even, after that Leeds had chances in the tie, no doubt.

We've been on the end of some of these this season, so we'll take this one and move onto the next one.

          Wolves 0

          Sent Off: J_Moder (49)

          MotM: Thiago (Arsenal)
          HT: 1-0

Tough game for us away from home after a thrashing from Leeds in our last outing. We tried our best and we weren't a million miles off. No qualms about the penalty in the first half after a rush of blood to the head from Aaron Ramsdale, but the sending off early in the second half scuppered any hopes we might have harboured. The last minute goal to make it two for the home side just rubbed salt into our wounds. Not a great day and one that we won't be letting Jakub Moder forget quickly after his spitting incident cost us anything from this game.

          Well played Darren.

Crunch game coming up next as two teams on the same point face each other in a loser takes the relegation spot as we play hosts to Brighton.

              Chelsea 2 Stoke 1

Professional job done on Stoke, and I'm well pleased with the 3pts. Always a tricky match, as they are always well organised ,and set out correctly. Good game mate.

                Bristol 1-1 Barnsley

Draw to Chelsea and then struggle here. To be honest their squad isn’t probably worth being last and with a manager who knows what he’s doing too! We are starting to share the minutes around as we have too many requiring it - could be interesting few weeks as we look to meet as many minutes as possible rather than selling. Gg mate

I mean these stats speak for themselves. A pretty dominant performance from us very much deserving of three points and we have ended up with zero. These sort of games infuriate you but they do happen. All we can do is take heart from the fact that we played so well again but we have to be better at both ends.

In form West Ham up next, we need to get back on track and put this one behind us

                      Arsenal 2 - 0 Wolves

A game that if we are honest, we should be going into looking for maximum points and we got another vital win. Madueke and Thiago getting the goals for us which makes it now three wins on the spin for us. Still far from where I see us but wins like this will help claw the gap in points to the sides above us. All in all, a deserved win for us which the stats show, but a massive game next for us in Europe.
