A very close game in which the home team played their part in an entertaining encounter and can count themselves unlucky to have not taken anything away from it. In an open game it was Villa’s front man Martinez that netted first on the quarter hour mark but that goal was cancelled out by the Stoke back man with the same surname who deservedly got The Potters back into the game. My lads then grabbed the winning goal midway through the second period which was very harsh on a very bright Stoke city outfit.
Another game where did everything but score and if you don't take your chances you won't win football matches. We should've, we deserved to win but Blackburn was in the tie, having some of the game, but they stole it once we opened up the midfield throwing another man high up.
Their 'keeper too had a stormer but we've let ourselves down again, these are games we should be winning but right now our form is too inconsistent. A cup final tomorrow, it's all or nothing, no two ways about it.
A win that the stats show we deserved and it comes away at what has been a tough fixture for us over the seasons. Correa looks to have finally found the form that he had last season with the goals coming now for him and one for Chiesa. Maybe it wasn't a 3-0 kind of game but we did more than enough to take the three points back to London.
Our form is slowly improving which we hope continues which in turn, also hope the sides above us who are flying hit the bad patch which we know is always round the corner.
All eyes now on the Champions League tomorrow night in a game we can afford no slip ups in as we welcome Utd who will be looking to bounce back from their loss in this round.
Very disappointing result. Feel we did enough to get a result but no luck today. The visitors scored twice and came away with the win. One to the next one.
excellent win for us to get us back on track. Very much deserved the 3 points and it’s lovely to see us be clinical and also get the better of the score line when on top stats wise. Other results were favourable to us so we can be happy enough our undeserved loss against Liverpool has been made up for.

Well I knew this was going to be a very tough game against a top side and manager. We just about kept in it for the first half and looked reasonable enough. But the second half found us out and we were completely outclassed by the better side the longer this game went on, exacerbated by my poor tactical choices later in the game. Definitely a disappointing day at the office! We certainly need to up our game significantly if we want to stay in this division.
Very well played Tim and good luck chasing City.
Our next game see's us back in DBC action against table toppers Fulham in a game we must win if we are to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout phase.
A big gulf in class, but the boys were confident considering our recent cup win. To hold the lead until the 87th minute was wonderful, but the late equaliser made us feel we lost two points. But, every point is sacred in this premier league season and we will definitely take a draw against one of the top sides in our division. All the best Andy. Cheers.
Never should have won here but we did and this is massive for us Outtens Mancs are incredible great side just couldnt get the break they needed and we just got lucky unlucky buddy never nice losing when the better side.
