Leeds 1-0 Leverkusen

I took a gamble in this game. I had to win, I didn’t think a draw would be enough going into the final two games,
especially with juventus up next. So I took a gamble on an E from Leeds. It didn’t pay off and we were well and truly battered despite the scoreline suggesting a closer game.

The red card in the 10th minute didn’t help. My main regret is not getting a result at home to Leeds, that would have made us play this one differently.

Good game Tim and best of luck in the knockouts.

Good news is my keeper had the best game of the season and hauled in a bucket load of abs, could be season changing if he gets to 22 soon!

Leeds United 1 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen

It’s a shame for Jason’s side to have been given a red card so early. I’m sure it had a massive effect on the game and it possibly took something away from the game.
I felt reading the the game that they actually gave a really decent account of themselves, stats wise shows we certainly deserved a win but not sure we hammered them.
it puts us in a strong position but only in second still, a point behind the old lady.

Played Jase, you were unlucky really, over our two games. Keep going, you’re doing a good job with Leverkusen. All the best mate

Juventus 4 - 1 Southampton

A big win for us considering the other game in our group.

We came in almost expecting Southampton to play L or N as they have in the past but they went with C and countered our P.

An early goal almost rocked us on 7 minutes, however hotshot F_Wirtz pulled us level within a minute.

We struggled to make an impact after this and we went into half time still level, looking for the games' next goal.

More than 20 minutes into the second half and Southampton were still frustrating us and holding us out but on 66 minutes we made the break through as Y_Adli, gaining a rare start for us, put us ahead in the game for the first time.

We went on the hunt for more goals after this and with two late goal from N_Gonzalez and A_Isak we wrapped up a 4-1 victory.

Statistically we were much the better team and were deserving of all 3 points.
