    Manchester United 1 - 0 Leeds United A_Elanga (79) K_Phillips (injured 68)

Playing Manchester United who pound for pound are a stronger 11 away from home and conceding the tactical advantage is always going to be asking too much. I got my tactics wrong and we have paid by having our cup run ending.

All of that said we gave a really good account of ourselves and despite being up against it tactically and them having home advantage we played really well all things considered. I’m definitely happy with the performance, if we had the run of the green we could have won this. Fairly even stats wise, could be argued we edged it but in truth could have gone either way and on this occasion it went theirs. No complaints.

With Chelsea and Man City going out it’s opened right up, go and win it steve.

Only thing I am annoyed about is another injury to KP, second time this season and makes us considerably weaker for the visit of spurs next up. Hopefully we can come through it.

Played steve, good luck for the semi and final. Good game

      MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 Leeds United

I felt Tim would stay with a set up he's had a bit of luck with and given current form I didn't fancy being too gung ho so opted to try our Achilles heal set up.

It meant very little and the game was pretty equal for large periods. The game swung with the subs, if it was level after 65, Elanga goes on to support the attack and it was him to scored the only goal.

The change was the difference really, another day though with our form, we get the against us. But, we play to win and we don't care how in cup football in particular.

We have a lot to get better at though, in particular Fati who has gone very quiet on the goal front recently which needs to change. But we're through and will take it.

        Arsenal 4 - 1 West Ham

An apparent mix up with the West Ham sheet but we can only play what's in front of us and to be honest, 442 N wasn't what we expected to face but we got the job done with a convincing win to book our place in the next round. A first goal for Lamptey aswell another from Pepe and a double from Correa who has finally found his shooting boots done the damage.

It could have been a banana skin for us as we planned to face a totally differnet setup by West Ham and we feel for them as it is a pain what happened but so easy to do when your on auto pilot. Getting through to the semi finals was the aim and we managed to achieve that,

          Chelsea 1-2 (AET) Barnsley

Well, basically, WOOO. What a performance! a huge cupset... we took a surprise lead through Kent and then Chelsea pegged us back. The game went into extra time and we were under a lot of pressure. The defence in particular stood tall and contributed to most of our 18 key tackles, before Delort scored what turned out to be the winner. On the balance of play, Chelsea edged it, we just were clinical. Unlucky Andy and all the best.

            Chelsea 1 - 2 Barnsley

We bossed the game, and lost it in extra time. Im disappointed but hats off to Barnsley I suppose. With Man City going out as well, its anybodies Cup now, go win it Barnsley. Well done mate.
