    PSV 2-2 Villarreal

Have to be honest and say this was a game that we was always second best in but naturally are still delighted to come away with a point. All of the goal action came during the second period and it was the home side who deservedly nudged ahead shortly after the interval. Two quick fire goals from my lads though put us into a shock lead which we somehow held onto until late in the game when PSV to their reliefs tied the game back up square. The homeside did push for a late goal but it was my lads who held on well towards the closing stages.

        Celtic 3 - 0 Valencia

Valencia were defeated by Celtic in a disappointing performance at DB Celtic Park. The Spanish side had no answer to Celtic's attacking prowess, as goals from Marcus Thuram (26, 52). Odsonne Edouard (78) sealed a comfortable victory for the home side after Valencia's James Milner took a knock after coming on as a sub, leaving the away team with only ten men and no-one to bring on.

Valencia's best player on the day was Alejandro Herrera, but it was not enough to prevent a heavy defeat.

The match statistics tell the story of the game, with Celtic having 12 attempts on goal to Valencia's 4. The home side also had 54% possession and won 6 key tackles to Valencia's 7.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Valencia, who will be looking to bounce back in their next match.

        Key Stats

        Attempts on Goal : 12 | 4
        Off target : 4 | 1
        On target : 8 | 3
        Possession : 54% | 46%
        Corners : 0 | 1

          Nottingham Forest 4 - 1 Fulham

We knew Fulham would set up parking the bus, so we went all out attack. Our new forward L_de_Jong making his debut for Forest and scoring a goal. In fact all 4 forwards got on the score sheet with Jessie Lingard, Awoniyi and Johnson also getting in on the act. A fantastic win and another three points. Our 4th win on the spin that has seen us raise the Forest ship from bottom placed 20th to now 11th place.

            PSV 2-2 Villarreal

Exciting game, with plenty of chances, though a little disappointed not to have won based on the stats being well in our favour.
We switched it up to E, which gave us the bonus in the first half versus the C, but no goals by half time, so we switched it up to P, and went into the lead. Then brought on a defender to supposedly tighten things up, but conceded 2 goals! we threw everything at the them in the end, and got the equaliser, which was the least we could have hoped for. We had a defender out, so played a bit more openly than usual. We had been pretty good at the back until today. gg dude

              FC Porto 1 - 0 Leicester City

We got it all wrong today, we looked at the Porto side and fancied out chances of playing our attacking game and blowing them away but Porto set up to play counter football and instead we got battered and perhaps we were lucky it wasnt more, a harsh lesson in being too confident before a game, but as long as we get back on track next game. gg mate

                FC Porto 1 - 0 Leicester City

I had no idea GS was looking after Leicester I thought it was Kirby for some odd reason!!
can’t take too much credit, I looked at Leicester and thought they looked pretty strong, so decided just to roll out the solid C. It did work and probably we deserved the points but not all that satisfying. Would rather play more expansive when possible, as I get Porto better and better I hope that we can do that more often.

played GS, all the best for the rest

                  Norwich 0-1 Frankfurt

We did not deserve this. We had 3 shots all game, and 2 on target. We struggled to create anything, and played most the game with 10 men. Norwich can definitely count themselves unlucky here, but look we will take it. We have already lost too many games to be league title favourites but results like today make me think that perhaps a top 4 finish is something we must strive for. Unlucky mate. All the best.
