Manchester City 2-1 Aston Villa

It's never easy playing at the Etihad Stadium against such a talented side but we gave a good account of ourselves in this game and that despite taking nothing out of the tie. Manchester City got themselves off to a dream start scoring in the very first minute through Phill Foden. Shortly before the half hour mark Harry Kane doubled the home sides lead but it wasn't long before we halved the deficit through Luiz Diaz. No further goals where scored in what was a very close game and while it was never a thriller it did prove to be a good watch.

Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 1 Blackburn Rovers Well we struggled here against spurs they were top defensive and strong for us we tried but just wasnt enough to overcome them so we suffered another defeat we need to gets some.wins soon or we will spend another season battling relegation again.

Spurs 2 - 1 Rovers

Calm and collected performance at home. Niklas Süle with the winning goal twenty minutes before full time. A game we deserved to win and made it out thanks to good defending. Myron Boadu missed a penalty in added time but no matter. Great to be back on winning ways.

Burnley 1 - 1 Manchester United

We had to face Manchester United in 10 for more than 90 minutes as Reinildo was sent off just a minute after the openning whistle. Overall a good performance from us as it´s nice to see we can handle one of the best oponents in only 10 men. Stats wise a fair draw I would say.

First match for our new wonderkid Kudos, with 3 shots quite a good start in our squad.

Sheffield Wednesday 0 - 6 Arsenal

We either smash teams or get smashed. Still looking for the season to settle down with the scorelines but it isn't looking likely to happened soon with yet another silly score. We deserved to win it but by six, its a big score but none the less, some good abs earned along the way.

The strikers took all the goals today, Madueke getting four with Chiesa picking up a brace also. The debut of Lamptey following his move from Rangers saw him play in a position that I don't really want him playing in but an injury meant he had to and he had a solid debut so pleased on the front.

Still unable to get any sort of run going but another three points on the board for us.

Middlesbrough 2 - 3 Leeds United

Boro opened the scoring with an early goal and got a late goal to bring them back into the game but in truth, everything in between we fairly well dominated. Stats wise we were definitely well worth our win and we probably made it harder work than we needed to. Once boro went 1 up early in the game they went D. So it was tough to grind them down but it was immensely satisfying that we were able to come back and continue creating chances. A vs D worked out pretty well for us.
It’s another 3 points and we march on. Great start, plenty of tough games upcoming though so we have to maintain these standards

Bristol City 1 Chelsea 2

Bristol City played very well in this game, and when Sane went off injured we struggled to contain them. The overall strength of the Chelsea roster just about got us through, so a fortunate 3pts in my humble opinion for us. Of course Im happy to gain the points but feel a tad sorry for Bristol. Good game mate ,unlucky.

Barnsley 2-0 Wolves

We were up for this game, and fired into a two nil lead after 39 minutes, but then came the problem, we went D. I did not expect to be 2-0 up and had possibly left this on the sheet. Meaning we played 60 minutes, quite defensively....however, we edged most the stats and created enough to be deserved winners. Ray's sides are often tough to break down so we are delighted with this result. All the best mate. Cheers.

Burnley 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

Another limp effort really, scored early missed a penalty and they equalised. We had the ball and didn't do enough with it. Very frustrating against 10 men too but atleast we got something from the tie. It's a fair cop on the day, but feels like a wasted opportunity in the circumstances of the game.

Away from home, got my tactics completely wrong and we paid the price. Fair play to Barnsley though they looked the better side throughout and deserved their win. The stats show that there was precious little between the two sides, but stats and reality rarely match up. We desperately need to up our game if we want to stand any hope of staying away from the drop zone come season's end.

Game 12 see's us play hosts to Mike Bridge's Stoke side in a "must win" game for both sides.
