Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
Well we huffed and puffed, we dominated possession and peppered their goal and finally we got our goal in the last quarter of the game. I thought it’d never come.
Two teams playing A and with home advantage, I was very confident but we seemed to make hard work of it despite dominating the game all the way through. It must be said we were aided by a first half red card for the wendies and we should have won at a canter really and in fact on another day, maybe we would have done, 3 or 4 - 0 wouldn’t have been an unfair result looking at the stats but ultimately 3 points is 3 points and that’ll do us.
With a third of the season gone and it’s been a brilliant start from us. Man City have finally lost (well played Toddington Todd Nigel) putting us level with them.
very pleased, focus now switches to Monday and getting the set up right to best Boro. No Enzo for that game with him going off injured.
Played Mike all the best mate
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
After an early opening goal we decided to stop playing football. Inside eight minutes the home side scored four goals. Disgraceful performance and behavior from the players. You just can’t allow yourself to drop your performance, it will hurt you. The four goals lost us the game and we’re heading the long way back home without a result. On a positive note, Myron Boadu bagged a hattrick and continues his great form. Wonderful player to have in your roster.
Mohammed Kudus played his last game for us and his heading to Burnley FC. In return we get Steven Bergwijn and he will make his debut on sunday.
A thriller at Villa Park in which Bristol City played a big part despite the apparent thumping. Both sides created plenty of opportunities in this game and Bristol City will be left wondering how they didn't score a few goals themselves although Oliver Baumann between the Villa sticks had an absolute stormer of a game keeping out the many Bristol attacks. Star man for Villa though has to be Mo Salah who despite having a very quiet season so far bagged himself a hat trick.
Relief! It's been too long without a win and happy to have overcome the counter attack style, which as I've said countless times, is usually our kryptonite. We deserved the win, we played better than we have done recently but there is much, much more we can do and improve on. Hopefully more players getting to the next levels will give that, although it hasn't proven to thus far.
Back to starting the build so to speak, hopefully we can start another run of wins.
Good win against a tricky side, and Manager. Usually struggle against Palace ,so a relief to get the three points. Bristol City away next so another potential banana skin approaches. Good game mate.
Well that was a pleasant surprise to get a point out of a game against a top side in Burnley. We kept it tight throughout the first half even though the visitors always looked the better side and more likely to score. And score they did early in the second half. But thankfully the lads kept strong and we were rewarded with an equaliser and Gabriel Veron's first goal for the club after he was put through by MotM Jakub Moder. Burnley then went a bit gung ho after that but our counter attacking style held us in good stead and we managed to see the game out to grab a valuable point. All in all a great performance from the team and in particular Moder who continues to perform well just in front of the back four. Burnley will feel a bit disappointed as the stats show they had large chunks of the game and far more opportunities to score.
Good game Simon.
Our next game has us travelling to face Barnsley in a crucial fixture.
Well I waited up to see myself lose so best believe it was a good nights sleep after we managed to get our second win defo did the other side dirty going D after going 1 up but I feel like when your playing these games against teams that beat you in every stat its gotta be done fair game though he lost a good fw early and my best fw is still out for another game so I think it was a solid performance from both sides
We couldn’t beat the lazy sheet. Their quality shone through and we move on to the next game and hope to get a victory to move us up the table. All the best young Hamza lad. Hopefully you can be more active soon!
Got beat obviously not the result we wanted but is what it is we've new lads coming in so hopefully things can tick again and get back to winning ways well done to Borough good win for them and tyler.
The high scoring games continue yet again but this time we score five in a game that in all fairness anything but a win for us would have been an injustice. We dominated the game and the stats show that there was only one team in it and some good abs picked up too.
Our attacking force came up trumps in this one with four different players getting in on the goals.
With Bremer and Skipp leaving after this one, a slight shuffle of the pack is needed ahead of the next game.
