Leverkusen 0-2 Juventus

The pre arranged AvA happened precisely as planned, chances and ABs galore. Vandevoort proved unbeatable today though and Leverkusen found no way passed him.

On any other night it could have been a win to Leverkusen or a more dominant win for Juventus.

but we take the abs and go on to fight another fight.

MARSEILLE 1-0 Sevilla

Odd, odd game. We had less shots but more goals. Less passes but more possession less tackles for bookings and red cards.

I don't know how to sum the game, I'm frustrated at how inset up my conditions, McAllister got a staggering 7 minutes. Fool!

But we need wins and we'll take it, but we need to perform better.

Onto the game, young Drum. Tried to clash swords with me at my own game. To be fair, they went ahead and drew first blood. I helped Drum a bit earlier in his career and he's really come on and become his own man, proud of him. But thank god, I didn't teach him everything I know. We came back into it though and deserved the win. GG Drum.

Rangers 3 - 0 AC Milan

Sheeted thinking I was playing Real Madrid, I am too upset and disappointed to even do a post match reaction so just will feel this to comply with the min words in order to get my monthly payment.

The good side of this, is that no players got injured or suspended, Davide Calabria got over 100 tackling abs and no player got negative abs.

We continue to dominate games but struggle to put them to bed. At least we won this one I guess.

Tadic proving his worth again with a late winner.

Despite our struggles we remain in touch with the 2 title favourites.

Sporting 2-3 Sociedad

Massive win for us and one we might look back on of the season that made a big difference.
Both sides went A. Sporting I’m guessing to keep the ball as far away as possible from their back up 15 rated GK and us going for it to put as much pressure as possible on that GK. Difficult situation for them to be in but we had to make the most of it.
Dolberg and Sadiq again brought the magic, sharing the goals and MoTM award between them. Even better was several players uprating and a few not far off too.
I have no doubt Lisbon will overtake us in the league soon enough given their quality and experienced manager but for now we will celebrate the three points and look to build on this.

Schalke 3 - 0 Atletico Madrid

Expected a very difficult fixture due to the gap in quality between us and Athleti. An own goal just a few minutes in put us ahead, I honestly had to reread that part because I thought it was us that conceded an early goal. Berge gave us a bit of a cushion with a smashing overhead volley. Correa sealed the 3 points with a late strike, which he is getting a knack for doing.

The addition of Saul Niguez can not be understated for us, as we've managed three straight wins; two in the league and one in the DB Cup since he entered the squad.

I didn't think Schalke would manage two wins the entire season but here we are with two in a row. Still early but we are fighting for every point.

Tough luck Marshy, we will see you in Madrid later this term.

PSG 2 Lyon 1
Although we won, this was one of our most disappointing performances. Lyon were actually on top for large parts of the game, and i beleive it was only our shooting quality that scraped us through. 16 shots for us is borderline 2 goals, so could easily have been a draw. defensively, Lyon are one of the weaker teams in the division, and are bottom for a reason, so with home advantage, and them a FW down , i expected to much more.

RB Leipzig 1 - 2 Roma

Couldn't ask any more from Leipzig against one of the title favorites. Roma scored halfway through the first half and was expecting the flood gates to open but we kept our shape and kept the score at 1 nil until surprisingly McKennie equalised with 20 minutes left and if we didn't have a player red carded would we have salvaged a draw. Who knows..

Inter Milan 3 - 1 Bayern Munich

A tough game vs an insecure manager who keeps telling us how better Bayern are then Inter, but not today we blew them away in a one sided performance, the goal coming from MOTM Lukaku to take the lead, although we should made more of the chances we had and Bayern had a goal chopped off for being miles offside, the second half we continued on the counter attacking gifting bayern more of the ball but hitting them heavy on the break and come the 76th minute we scored 2 in two mins as we blasted them away on the conter attack to take a 3-0 lead, Gravenberch managed to score a consolation goal on the 88th minute but it was too little too late in a promising performance, we seem to be having a good run of form and player performances of late which we hope to keep up with the league being so tight. gg mate

Bayer Leverkusen 0 - 2 Juventus

A good win against a manager who I get an extra kick out of beating.

Both teams came into the game looking to attack and after an even opening, we took the lead through A_Isak on 11 minutes and looked to pass our way to victory.

The next 29 minutes were end to end, with both teams having spells but overall the game was very even and out of nowhere we won a penalty and Isak dispatched it to double our lead for the day heading into half time. We headed in with TA too.

Into the second half and much like the first half, very even with both teams having spells of control rather than dominance.

Leverkusen went back to an attacking approach on 65 minutes but they just couldn't find the back of the net, with our captain and goalkeeper saving all 9 shots on target today and could have earned MOTM had Isak not scored a brace.

We ran out 2-0 winners and our inconsistent start continues, with a good result this time.

Statistically it was a very even game, Leverkusen deserved something out of the game but we'll take the win as we've lost games like this.
Nuno_Mendes finally rated up, just Antony and Wirtz to go now...for now.

This result finally puts us above Leverkusen (Feels so long since we've been in a CL place too) so Jhop can stop banging on about that now....Good game Jason

Barcelona 2 Monaco 1

We've had our problems against Monaco in the recent past so decided just to play attacking and see where that got us.

3 mins in and we conceded a penalty which Monaco duly dispatched and I thought here we go. Jesus equalised shortly after but on the half hour mark Saint Maximin received his marching orders and again I thought here we go. The introduction of Antonio in the 2nd half had the desired effect as he fired us in front with 73 mins on the clock and our ten men were able to see it out from there.

It was another very tricky encounter with Johnboy's team but I think we just about merited the win although they certainly put in a spirited display.

Next up a tough trip to face Atletico made all the more difficult with Saint Maximin suspended.

MARSEILLE 1-0 Sevilla

First caretaker game and my cock up meant we lost in the final part of the game.

I’ll try and rectify this for the next game to make amends. Up to that point we were in the game and probably should have taken the point.

I decided to go for it and it cost Sevilla.
