Blackburn Rovers 1 - 2 Lazio The better team lost in my opinion tonight and even ref did us over to even salvage a draw by disallowing a goal but we can't dwell on it too much we just need to focus and perform better next time.

Leverkusen 0-0 Leeds

A point in which Leeds will be the happier with I imagine.

Very even game which sets up the second half of this table, Juventus leading in 6 points with Leeds on 5 and Leverkusen on 4.

Both Leverkusen and Leeds stuck to their tactics throughout which led to a slightly uneventful game, a pretty cagey affair.

Leverkusen 0-0 Leeds

Pretty even game in which the draw was the fair result and can’t complain at the result. One shot on target makes it plain to see where we were lacking today, poor effort in front of goal. I thought going 4 at the back might be a risky move away from home but it seems it was the other end I should have been worried about.
The group is very very tight and after a win away to juventus first game we have not taken advantage of that at all and have lost all of that momentum. The group is shaping up very nicely though and it’s going to be an interesting second half of the group stage.

Southampton 1 - 3 Juventus

Coming into this one we knew we had to win it and hope for a result elsewhere and that's what happened with the Leeds/Leverkusen game ending a draw.

We came with a passing game while the hosts played into our hands playing N and we took the lead with the first action of the game.

On 11 minutes, the hosts had a penalty appeal turned down but they did find a route back into the game on 23 minutes and we resumed our tactical advantage.

With 10 minutes to play in the first half we retook the lead and headed into the break on top.

The games next goal would be key and with a minute to play we found it to wrap up the points.

Statistically we were second best, but we took our chances and Southampton didn't. It's nice to see our front players scoring too.

After being robbed by Leeds in the first game, we've won the next 2 and sit top of the table.

could you say the better team lost, smash and grab, ride the luck train, well we actually got a break from the game engine,

blackburn will be gutted buy the way the game played out,,,

lazio cruised into a 2-0 lead, only for de gea to give blackburn a chance,

2-1 to lazio, then the controversy,

mitoma rescues a draw, oh no lino puts his flag up,,, never offside, var didnt intervene, and game falls away from the blackburn faithful.
