    Sunderland 2 - 1 Nottingham Forrest

We countered Goochy as our researched showed we would. Unfortunately they came back into it in the 2nd half and took the win. We can feel a bit unlucky with this result going by the stats, I feel like we deserved at least a draw. Nevermind, will keep on scrapping. GG David.

      Barnsley 2-1 Crystal Palace

A very solid performance that sees us have 4 points from the first two games (both at home mind you), a tough away game in Germany next, and that begins a run of 3 away games in a row. It'll be tough to progress but for now, Barnsley are just delighted to be competitive in a European competition.

      Cheers good game mate.

        PSV 2-0 Sociedad

Despite being a division below us, PSV have a stronger squad and that class shone through. We started with the TA, lost a goal, changed tactics, PSV had TA and we conceded one more in the second half. Not too many positives to take but we move on.
        Played Neil, good game.

          Borussia Dortmund 3 - 3 RB Leipzig
The second group 4 game took us to Germany and after our first match resulting in a home win against Wolves and are now placed second behind leaders Fulham after there 3-1 win at Wolves. We took the lead early on through Chalobah but was quickly cancelled out by Dortmond who then went on to hit a second and it was our turn to get back on even terms with Costa. Early in the second half it was Borussia who took the lead yet again but to Leipzig's credit they fought back for a second time with Milik hitting there third to draw level where it eventually finished.

            Celtic 5-0 Ajax

"I'm pretty sure Ajax will be sick of Glasgow and ready to get back to the Dutch capital, to play back to back in league and Cup is very unlikely to come up in the fixtures but it wont be one for them to remember 3-0 in the league on Sunday, 5-0 today, a very strong performance from start to finish, the Dembele signing has proved to be a masterclass so far and exactly what we needed and its showed in our recent results, just got to keep going now and keep trying to move up the table."

              PSV 2-0 Real Sociedad

Interesting battle against a side I was caretaker for a while. We started cautiously and fortunately got the early goal.
Plenty of positives, including 2 goals for En-Nesyri and good performances all round.
Puts in a decent position in the group early doors, hopefully some more good abs and performances to come
