BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
"Back to back 3-0 wins is always a great feeling to have, the lads were clinical again today and could of scored even more, great for Dembele to get his first goal for us, Terrier on the scoresheet again as well, he and Thuram really have been great editions to the side, Ajax will be staying in the hotel in Glasgow for another couple of nights as its the same fixture again on Tuesday but in the DB cup, hopefully the same result and we can start to focus on bigger and better things for this club"
Another defeat and on this occasion a defeat that we deserved. Sheffield United bossed this game in all honesty and the winning margin could easily have been much greater than it was. The home side deservedly went into a two goal lead shortly into the second half and a goal from us just past the hour mark made it look like a close game although it never was.
Another good win for Porto to continue our very good start to the season.
It will be hard to maintain this high bar we have set, there are a few teams with better squads than ours but we will keep plugging away and see where we end up.
We have continued our positive brand of football and it’s nice to be able to do that and still get decent results.
Played baggies, unlucky, all the best for the rest, until we play again
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
a fantastic performance with 26 shots on goal and plenty of abs for the squad we were unreal today and dont think many would have got close to us, we were 2-1 up at halftime but it should have been more but come the second half we got the third to make it more comfortable but we had goals chopped off but we deserved the win in a comfirtable performance, i feel the squad needs work and we will look to ramp that up. gg mate
Noticed the bat signal to manage bottom of the conference Forrest late last night. Threw together a sheet in 1 minute without much analysis and barely being able to see. We were well beaten on the day on the stats.
1 day into the Forrest hot seat though, and we have already improved the important DM position with a half decent BHN pick up. Will be some tough doing, but can Talbot make Forrest great again?
We have goals in us, but my gosh we concede a lot. Home league form is 100% wins.. away form is 0 points. We need to bounce back away with two tough games coming up including the bald Porto. Who are flying!
As for this game, hattrick from Laurent before he got subbed off… how many would he have got!
the bad news is an injury to star striker who will miss next week’s away trip to the midlands.
Nice, fairly straightforward win for the Dutch lads.
we countered the expected A, though it turned out they had a new boss anyway.
en-nesyri got the important goal.
hopefully the side can manage ok with remote instructions from the boss this week, who is out getting pissed up on a golf holiday. Sheets were sent early for the European game
Valencia came out on top in a thrilling match at the Mestalla Stadium, with goals from Alejandro Berenguer and Jaume Costa sealing the victory. Sunderland opened the scoring through Evanilson, but Valencia responded well and deserved their win.
Sunderland started the match brightly and took the lead in the seventh minute through Evanilson. However, Valencia hit back immediately and equalised through Berenguer in the 17th minute. The home side continued to dominate possession and created several chances, but they were unable to find a second goal until the 44th minute, when Costa scored from close range.
Sunderland pushed for an equaliser in the second half, but they were unable to break down the Valencia defence.
The home side held on for the win and stay second in the Conference League table.
Man of the Match: Serge Gnabry
Serge Gnabry was a constant threat for Valencia and he was involved in both of the home side's goals. The German international was also solid defensively and he helped to keep Sunderland at bay.
