    Manchester United 1-0 Aston Villa

We started this game in a fairly conservative fashion against a team going great guns at the moment. Things were fairly even with the odd chance being created by both teams but our cause wasn't helped with when our keeper had to go off with a foot injury in the first half and it wasn't long after that the home side got the breakthrough. Thankfully our GK looks like he will be available for our next game but worryingly we seem to have suffered more injuries during the first few games of this season than we did through the whole of the previous season. That can only go down to bad luck.

    Game Steve

      MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 Aston Villa

It was a close affair but once we got the breakthrough we managed to hold our nerve and see out the game. We didn't mess about too much, but with Baumann going off injured we could've thrown more forward but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Saka got that decisive goal and he's started the season excellently from midfield and deserved this goal. Content again with the win, decent display against a top 8 side, but I still know we'll click and more will come.

We're happy to go 6 straight league wins at the start of the season but coming up is a very tricky run which will show our true character.

        Wolves 0 Chelsea 3

Good game for Chelsea against a well organised Wolves side.I think the 3-0 slightly flatters us, but that said we did control the game. Good three points, unlucky mate.

          Spurs 2 - 0 Toffees

The visitors had the game ruined when Dan Burn got himself sent off early in the game and we had the pleasure of playing almost the whole game 11 v 10. Goals from Myron Boadu and Orkun Kökcü secured three big points and we keep ourselves high up the table at the early stages of the season. Our home form has been very good and we’re enjoying good attacking football the the minute.

Our maiden season in the top flight is proving to be a bit of a baptism of fire. But to be fair to the lads they are keeping their heads down working hard and we are improving despite the current set of results. Chelsea are a top side and this was always going to be very tough for us and overall the stats show we were slightly better than the scoreline suggests. The desire and determination is there as evidenced by the three bookings, but as has been said before we need to be far sharper in front of goal and give our defense something to defend for. Seven shots and only one on target is simply not good enough at this level. On the upside Jakub Moder continued his excellent form to rate up to 18 in his passing.

            Very well played Andy.

Our next game see's us take on one of our fellow promoted sides in Bristol City in a must win game for both sides. We are away but we do have a full squad to select from in this important clash.

              Blackburn Rovers 1 - 3 Leeds United

Well the scoreline doesnt reflect the stats i do feel gutted by this result a draw would have been a fair outcome despite us have a few extra shots we both had the same amount on target possession weren't much in it either so really the game just came down to good finishing and Leeds came away smiling no bad feelings about the game is what it is we performed well and Leeds are flying so far this season all the best Tim good game.

                Stoke City 2 - 0 Brighton

A vs A meant it would hinge on some brilliance or a player messing up.

Luckily it was an away player getting sent off that meant we were able to take control of the game.

It means we maintain our 100% home record and move up to mid table. Our away form is horrific and after some advice from a fellow manager on discord I think I can crack our away jinx. The advice in its entirety was “Just change formation” which is brilliant in its simplicity. I won’t divulge who the tactical genius is but I’ll be asking further advice throughout the season!

Good game Peter, good luck in your next games

                  Blackburn 1 - 3 Leeds United

This was always going to be a tough game, Ryan is doing an excellent job with Blackburn and they are looking very good.
I completely agree that on stats we were a little lucky really but I think our extra firepower and knowing they’d go C put this game in the bag for us. We decided to counter their C with our first run out of the season with E and it worked well. We didn’t control great swathes of the game but I think it made us really potent and we finished our chances fairly well. In the end it was enough and the fact we have a viable option to counter the C might make people think twice now as I think we face C basically every game we play. Very rare we don’t, which can make it tricky in particular away giving up home advantage and tactical advantage. So hopefully now I have a bit of confidence in E again this weapon in our arsenal should make us much less predictable

                  Good game Ryan, unlucky mate

                    Newcastle 4 - 0 Arsenal

Not to sure this game warranted a four nil loss but last season and the start to this one has shown me that anything is possible when the flood gates open in games with cricket scored not so rare anymore.

Take nothing away from Newcastle, they were slightly better than us and did deserve the win but it was a bit harsh to lose by four. We have won a couple of the bounce so knew a defeat was around the corner and if Im honest, we tried with the same setup which is clear to see that we were see through in this one.

Some sensible abs picked up but yet again, our start to the season looks like a slow once again.

                      Burnley 4 - 3 Middlesbrough

With Middlersbrough missing some of their key pleayers we expected quite an easy game. However, Guedes´ red card before the half time whistle mad it much more complicated. Plus Sommer with 5 saves and 3 goals in just didn´t have his day. Luckily, our four goals were enough to save the victory in the end. After a horrible start of the season (tipycal for us last seasons) we are slowly climbing up the table.

                      Good game Tyler.

Worst game of the season by us so far. A disappointing defeat. Just didn’t click fully. Still feel a little unlucky by the score line but we bounce back today hopefully in what is another very tough test. Some new selections will be happening. Cheers GG Mike.
