Atalanta 5 - 4 Eintracht Frankfurt
Again not liking the 4.3.3 setup yes we scored goals but we concede alot too again probs look at changes but that said despite being the weaker team on state obviously we're happy to have got the points.
A sprightly game this one in which a point for each side was about the right result. Both teams created plenty of goal scoring opportunities and it is a wonder more goals were not chalked up by either team. Forest got the breakthrough just before the quarter hour mark and it wasn't until an hour into the game that we found a deserved leveller. Good game and we look forward to our next encounter.
Good performance from the lads, creating lots of chances and looking at the stats it perhaps should have been more.
The nerves were starting to kick in though, as it took until the 70th minute to find the winner though En-Nesyri after a disallowed goal or two. We didn't miss Faivre too much, with Hamsik stepping in well.
A good week all in all, with 3 wins, onto trickier games including away at Frankfurt next.
We didn’t bring our best game today. To concede 5, even with our best defender injured, is a disaster and needs fixing asap. Atalanta are better than last seasons table finish. But if we are serious about promotion these games we need to win. Well played Ryan. Two games on the same day against you!
Norwich City and Valencia played out a goalless draw in a tight and evenly-matched contest at Carrow Road. Both teams had their chances, but neither was able to find the breakthrough.
Norwich City's best player was Daniel Sanchez, who was a constant threat down the left flank. He created several chances for his teammates, but they were unable to take them.
Valencia's best player was Conor Coady, who was named Man of the Match. He marshalled the Valencia defence well and made a number of important clearances.
The match was a good advert for Conference League football, and it was a shame that it ended goalless. However, both teams can take heart from their performances, and they will be looking to build on them in their next matches.

Next Up
Valencia's next game is home at the Mestella for Round 3 of the Conference League hosting English side Luton Town.
"One of them games today, we deserved a lot more than what we got, played really well but somehow everything Leicester hit went in and thats something im going to have a chat with Alban about, its not good enough and im sure he will more angry with himself than i am, weve got a couple of changes coming in, but its Norwich next game and then we will have got through playing the 3 highest wage teams in the conference, its just mad luck that those have been our first 3 games, hopefully a positive result against Norwich will kick on our season"
After the disappointment of the opening day massacre at Villarreal we lined up with the same starting 11 but a slightly more restrained formation as we dropped Clark and Ihattaren a little deeper in midfield.
We got off to a flyer as captain Morris opening his, and the teams account for the season with a rocket past Bolat in the United goal. Three minutes later we doubled that lead as the on loan Ihattaran broke free in midfield and scored to make it 2-0.
Just before the hour mark Luton grabbed a third as Andersen slotted a rebound past Bolat after the keeper had saved his original effort.
Three points was a deserved return for us, and a much needed clean sheet for Rui Silva was the icing on the cake.
Good game Kels, good luck for the rest of the season.
