BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
Barnsley 3 - 2 Blackburn Rovers Another bad result shocking start not liking the 4.3.3 formation so will look to changing a few things I think we'll done to Anthony great result the better team won for sure.
Well the scoreline clearly flatters us. It was no way a drubbing for Brighton, they actually had more shots on target than us. I guess it just came down to our lads being ruthless in front of goal. Hat trick for big Phil the highlight of the game, Kaney yet to find the back of the net, hopefully he joins in next time out.
Another win against Hamza's Liver-P-ool but this is one where it was tougher then it ought to be.
We lost Adeyemi early, he's out for 2 games, and after equalizing Fabian Ruiz lost his head so misses the next game, not handy as he's now way behind his minutes. But we kept going and the man for this big occasion, Federico Valverde got the winner.
We only care about winning, and playing with 10 men, and an 11 FW for huge parts of the game is very pleasing we managed to get the win.
All we can do is keep going, manage what we have available and hope to continue picking up wins.
Sent wrong sheet and deserved to lose.
what's the rules on loans playing against parent teams, was there ever one brought in?
Pretty sure there is no rule that relates to loan players playing against parent teams. So something you would need to negotiate yourself with the other manager involved.
Not an awful lot in this game stats wise but the home side who did shade things came out on top. Again we adopted a positive approach, but similar to the previous FA cup tie against Chelsea came out of it with nothing to show. We went ahead early doors but soon found ourselves three goals to one down and it was into the second period before we pulled a goal back but spurs then shutting up shop. One of our defenders getting his marching orders in the second period further adding to our woes.
We fell a goal down early on but three quick goals inside five minutes turned the game to our advantage. Myron Boadu got a brace, his second brace in as many league games, and Mohammed Kudus got his first of the season. There was no more goals from the home side and even though the visitors got one back in the second half we managed to hold on to the three points. Good start from the lads.
Happy with how the team played in terms of stats loads of shots on target but couldn't seal the deal sadly probs would have been a draw but we both decided to go A at the end and that allowed them to slip one in but can't complain about how it went would've preferred a draw of course though lol
Well a good win especially away from home, but Middlesbrough can count themselves unlucky not to have gained a point here. It took a Reece James goal late on to seal the points for us, so there was no coming back from that one so late in the game. Welcome points mind, and we move on, a good start but a long long way to go. Good game mate, unlucky.
This is a very good result against a very good side and away from home too.
Whilst we had the better of the game and I think we earned the three points, the score line may be slightly flattering, but we are really happy to take this and pleased to continue our positive start.
on paper you’d look at Burnley away and think maybe a point would be a decent result, so to take all 3 and convincingly too is lovely.
played Si, best of luck until you come to our place.
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Two games into our first ever season in the top flight and we've managed to notch up our first three points. Unlike our tightly fought FA Cup game against Palace earlier in the week which we edged on penalties, this game proved to be a far more comfortable affair. Dele Alli carved out the first opportunity for Wolves within minutes of the kickoff with a through ball that found Cody Gakpo who duly dispatched it for his first goal of the campaign. This was followed up seven minutes later with a great goal from Spanish midfielder Oscar Melendo to put Wolves well in control. Overall Wolves were the better side and Reece Oxford capped the win off with the third goal early in the second half.
Played Lee.
Next up we have a very difficult trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. Both sides have key players missing, but getting a result against United will be a colossal task for Wolves.
Pleased to get our first win of the season after the opening day loss against Man City. Not usually the easiest of fixtures for us over the seasons as Colchester and now Everton, a fixture we normally struggle with and despite it being a quiet game really, we nicked it 2-0 with goals from Chiesa and Pepe with Malacia and Locatelli increasing in main skill so all in all a good day at the office.
The Barnsley show goes on. A great start to the season. Delort finally bagging some goals, since becoming captain. Impressive performances continue from star signing Mollet. These kind of results make me feel like perhaps I’ve made the wrong choice in caretaking Barnsley. The connection and desire is still there! GG Ryan.
Our home games will be key this season, especially going off the first game of the season.
We needed a performance and although the away side will have been disappointed to not take at least a point. We managed to sneak a goal and a clean sheet to take the points.
We need more performances like this and some of the players to quickly rate up and we can maybe make something of this season.
