    Celtic 0 - 1 Inter

an eventful game ever being one nil, couple disallowed goals and a fairly even game but we came to win and we did which keeps us ahead of a chasing Ac Milan and rangers while keeping us in touch of atletico madrid ahead of us, our season is almost done and as I keep saying some big changes are coming but we can’t wait for next season now. Tried a different approach in this one but ultimately it failed and it's another poor result for us as our season has completely gone off the rails in the past month. To be honest there wasn't much in the game but I don't grudge Hop the win and I hope he gets his Euro qualification.

Only 3 more games to go thankfully and looking at the opposition it wouldn't be a surprise if we don't get another victory.

As I say really not good enough recently.

Another away game = another disappointing performance. Conceded 4 goals from 8 shots faced, which is woeful. Played combinations of PAEC to try and manage the game, and ended up wishing id just played 442A. Only positives from the game was another 2 goals for felix taking his tally to 52 for the season, and a 20th MoM, and that Real Madrid need to wait another game to win the title.Stats suggest we didnt deserve anything from this game, and i dont begrudge Gary the 3 points. Whilst still mathematically possible, our chase for 2nd is over, and players are now playing for their shirts next season.
        Well played Gary

          Frankfurt 0 1 Roma

We were far from our best again but managed to limp away with 3 points.

We've given ourselves a fighting chance of finishing 3rd and avoiding the embarrassment of plummeting even further.

          But it's still pretty poor.

            Leverkusen 3-2 Barca

shouldn’t have won, but P at home even against C always has a chance of winning

It leads me into a winner takes all against Dortmund next. Can’t wait!

Good game livi and see you in season 2!

make ground one game and lose it the very next! It felt like we were on top in this game throughout action wise but the 11-7 shot count far from dominant. Chopped and changed the tactics as wasn’t sure what we would get from lazio but maybe we just ended up confusing the players!

Simon Marsh commented “three games to go Inter (a), Napoli (h) Real (a) so it feels very much like trying to hold into 06th than chase down 05th. Inter will be looking to beat us and overhaul us the last 2 games and we go into the game defensively weak with Inter the slightly better side overall and at full strength so it’s going to be a tough game”

                Valencia 1 - 5 Real Madrid

So close we can smell the title now. 12 wins on the spin now. A double sea of green, if you will.

It's a shame that our Dark Art's contemporary could not do us a favour against Lisbon, but we will just have to take care of business ourselves and keep on winning football games instead. Elliot was the star man here today and rumours circulate that Talbot will be putting much faith in the youngster in the near future, and today he showed why with two excellent goals.

Last time we won the title, we did so verses AC Milan and Mati. Can we do so again?

                  Juventus 1 - 2 Bayern Munich

A disappointing loss to a team who are on the march for Champions League football next season.

We both started off playing C and Bayern thought they'd took the lead on 13 minutes, but Haaland's effort was disallowed for handball.

The visitors however did take the lead 6 minutes before the break after A_Davies' effort dramatically dipped in past our keeper and we went into the break a goal down.

Less than 15 minutes after the restart, Bayern had their 2nd of the game and all 3 points in the bag as we were up against TA at this point.

A late goal from the soon to be departing M_Odegaard meant the game seemed a little closer but we couldn't find a second.

Statistically the game was fairly even, our players just aren't performing this season and I'm at a loss as to how to make it better.

                  Good game JB.

not really too much to add, we have picked up some points at the right time. This game was always gonna be a slippery game.

atletico have been stabilised and are under a good manager.

we have had ups and many down, but we have a small buffer now and should make DPT. but no complacency can creep in.

pulisic returns. So a change in formation and tactic.

3 more points will seal it.

                      Sporting Lisbon 4 PSG 3

With a lot of noise coming out of Paris from Ed that last season Champions were going to claim 2nd place for Champions League seeding next season it was imperative that little Sporting Lisbon put their more illustrious Superstars to the sword which they duly did.

The game started very even and in the 8th minute Ed Clark was jumping around the dugout as Bastoni pounced on a mistake from Casemiro then found Felix who made no mistakes to give the Paris Giants a 1-0 lead.

Sporting Lisbon went straight for the throat and Rensch was brought down by Declan Rice on the edge of the box to earn himself a yellow card. Up stepped Juan Mata who hit a hard toe bunger that smashed into the top corner to bring the game level a minute later.

Before the home fans could catch their breath big Casemiro made up for his mistake in the 8th minute as he went past Thuram and smashed a curling shot into the back of the net. Sporting Lisbon had turn the game on its head and were sitting 2-1 up after only ten minutes.

Sporting Lisbon then had a period of dominance but concern was seen around the Stadium when Juan Mata pulled up injured with squad filler Gugganig replacing him.

Six minutes later PSG were back level when Joao Felix took the game by the scruff of the neck to make the score 2-2.

Sporting Lisbon were looking like a team possessed as they look determined to win this game as they dominated the remainder of the half.

In the 44th minute their exciting free flowing football got its reward when Rick Karsdorp smashed the ball past the desperate Costa to restore Sporting Lisbon's lead.

The scoring was not finish as in the 3rd minute of injury time Robert Lewandowski was brought down by the filthy dirty Declan Rice when he looked sure to score. How Declan Rice was not sent off for at least a 2nd yellow card only the referee knew. Robert Lewandowski look outraged but used that anger to smash an unstoppable shot into the onion bag and Sporting Lisbon ended the half 4-2 up.

The 2nd half was a very even affair and in the 86th minute Pino gave the Paris Giants hope when he made the score 4-3.

Sporting Lisbon held firm and recorded a great victory against last season Champions as well as claiming yet another "Big Boy" scalp to add to this seasons impressive list of victims.

PSG had 58% possession but Sporting Lisbon created more chances with 16 to PSG's 11, Sporting Lisbon also had more shots on target with 7 to PSG's 5.

I am so proud of the boys today, they left everything on the pitch and fully deserved their victory. This was a massive performance and win and demonstrated what we are all about. We played with no fear and got our rewards against a great team and manager to prove our position in the League is deserved and not a fluke.

Both sides were very clinical and I see Ed's post match ramblings said he was upset that his side conceded 4 goals from 7 shots. I could be equally upset that we conceded 3 goals from 5 shots but I am too bloody happy that we beat his side and should now put to bed Ed's dreams of finishing runners up.

We still have a very outside chance of winning the Title if Real Madrid lose their final 3 games but lets be honest that is not going to happen. We just need to make sure we finish runners up and break the "Big Three" up in the League table.

Great Game Ed as always and dont think we beat you much if ever so this is a special win for my little side
