    Leicester 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

Although was missed 2 key players today, it wasn't a good display, and on the balance of the game we are fortunate to come away with a point. I expected the Leicester set up, but counter attack doesn't suit us at all, it's bitten us more than it's benefitted us to be honest this season and it continued. Thankfully we're fully fit for the next game so hopefully get back to winning ways.

      Leeds United 1 - 0 Brighton T_Tomiyasu (4)

Good performance as usual and this time a good result. Players showed a bit of back bone to keep a rare clean sheet. Wee deserved the three points according to the stats and today, we translated that in to the win.
The sour note (there is always one or two) is that Tadic is now missing for three games out of the last four, which makes things difficult, especially now that I have sold a few and have zero depth, but that is my fault for essentially chucking the towel in this season and thinking ahead to next. The finish line is nearly there, then we can draw a lione under the season which has not been a happy one and refocus.

      Cheers Peter, played.

        Chelsea 1 - 1 Blackburn Rovers

Not the result I wanted, but what can I expect when I play a 14 rate middy for his minutes, and a make shift forward because of Richarlisons suspension, answer not a lot. That said the 14 Rate turns out to be Man Of the Match and scores a 125 passing abs, work that one out,Ha Ha Ha.Good game mate, and a decent point for Blackburn Rovers.

          Barnsley 1-1 Aston Villa

A rather sleepy affair played out at Oakwell with the home team going all out for a draw and getting one, whether or not that tactic and subsequent result prevents them from dropping out of the Premier League remains to be seen. One thing for sure is that both sets of supporters were somewhat dismayed at the level of entertainment presented on the day and even the home fans were heard chanting we want our money back at the final whistle. With just 5 attempts at goal and 4 of those attempts on target for Villa, we was probably the team that came the closest to forcing a result although the goaless draw was always the more likely outcome.

            Leicester 1-1 Man U

I would have taken a point before the game, but looking at the stats, can only be disappointed not to win this one.
We created a lot of chances but could only put one away, and unfortunately our keeper got nobbled in the 40th minute, after which it was only a matter of time before they scored against our 14 rater.
A 3 week keeper injury right at the arse end of the season is not ideal, but we'll get on with it, and hope we can pick up enough points

              Barnsley 0-0 Aston Villa

The Villa manager imagined a goal for each side in his score summary. I wish we didn't feel we needed to set up the way we did, with C being a right bitch for us, we decided to try counter the other way... it worked, and we created a handful of opportunities but we couldn't convert any. When you're facing a forward three of 60 shooting abs combined, when your 5 man defence is not much more than that combined, you've got to do what you've got to do to try gain a valuable point in our survival push. Only one home game left and I think we are doomed, however it's been a heck of a ride and I am glad we have been competitive.

Lol. Just noticed that, no idea why I put 1-1.

                Arsenal 3 - 1 Burnley

After a few games which have ended in defeat, we finally picked up all three points in a round that other results went our way. Far from happy with the run of games against sides we should have done better with but after such a good run, you know a poor run is always just around the corner.

The title is sown up once again for Nick so its a race for second among a group of teams that are neck and neck and with the North London derby next for us against Spurs who sit in second, its a massive game not only for us but also the teams chasing that second spot.
