    Napoli 1 - 0 Lazio

    the mediocre form continues.

napoli had a game plan. Score, shut up shop, pray.

    well prayers answered.

lazio had a goal ruled out, but for all of the ball we had nothing seemed to want to go in,

still need a few more points to be a certainty in DPT next season,

Will probably have been dragged back closer to no European football so some of the players need to stand up and do their bit.

      Madrid 5 - 1 Roma

With a tough run in we decided to experiment with signing a DM to protect our back 5.

But it looks like Locatelli confused rather than helped our defence as Madrid repeatedly scored with ease.

      (cue: Locatelli transfer listing)

Fair play to Madrid who outclassed us and are odds on favourites now.

We'll struggle to reclaim 2nd place I think but will give it our best shot.

        Atletico 2-0 Leverkusen

really disappointing result as we held out pretty well despite the early goal, up until we had a player sent off, for the second game in a row.

Once down to ten and our change to a more attacking tactic became an onslaught from the Madrid boys, and 2-0 became a good scoreline to cling onto.

Good game Marshy, you are doing well with atletico. But things could have been different had we not suffered the red.

          Bayern Shitebags 2 Barca 1

It's become quite clear that C ain't as shite as has been made out - it certainly works a treat against us anyway.

JB went with the same negative no forwards approach that nicked the cup final and it paid dividends for him yet again as they scored twice late on - whilst still persisting with the 51130C. Poor in game tactics from me I guess. The outcome is fairly meaningless to our season but I'd have loved to have won against the shitebag no forwards approach.

Alas whatever way you want to dress it up it seems to me FFO2 is just FFO all over again - albeit with quicker end of season breaks

Atletico Madrid 2 Bayer Leverkusen 0

            GG JH

A slightly flattering result this one due to the red card on the stroke of half time. After an indifferent period of form it was a welcome break and a rare clean sheet very much the order of the day. With Rangers putting together a great run of 5 straight victories Atletico, Inter and Ac Milan very much must look over their shoulders still. Atletico should be safe for a top-7 finish but still a little work to be done. Saint-Maximin and Vinicius scored the goals today.

Manager Simon Marsh commented "Really pleased with this win as Leverkusen are a dangerous side. We want to keep pushing and finish as high as possible. We could yet put pressure on PSG and Barca with a flurry of wins but if not then 06th would be a very good season for us when you consider some of the teams in the league".

Asked as to whether Sessognon playing in defence was a teamsheet error Marsh clarified "Absolutely not. We want to get him up to 14-tackling and he has been stalled at just below for so long we moved him in there with one eye on the future. It would be great to get him to a 14-19-14 ahead of next season. We saw Under improve to 13-shooting despite him having no goals from 31-shots and Maximin improved to 16-passing".

              Juventus 2 PSG 4
Last season this game would have been 1st v 2nd but both teams are struggling to replicate that form this time around. Similar shotcount but the better GK and attacking ratings gave us a rare away win. Felix has been quiet lately but another brace and yet another MoM helped us get the win. We ease into 4th above barca on goal difference. Our target remains second for the CL seeding, but pulling back 7 points over 7 games may be too much of an ask.

                Celtic 0 Sporting Lisbon 2

Sporting Lisbon travelled to Glasgow looking to bounce back following two consecutive defeats as Windebank locked horns with Sam Bradwell.

Historically these two managers attack each other and this game was no different as both really went for the 3 points, with Sam needing a win to help in his relegation fight and Windebank needing to win to keep on the coat tails of Real Madrid and Roma.

In the 7th minute the ever impressive Luke Shaw found the man mountain that is Casemiro who hot a rocket that could be a goal fo the season contender to give the Portuguese side an early lead.

Both sides continued to attack and this game became a real exciting end to end encounter with Sporting Lisbon creating slightly more chances.

Most in the ground thought Casemiro had doubled the away sides lead in the 38th minute but his effort hit the side netting to the relief of the home faithful and the first half ended 1-0 to Sporting Lisbon.

This game was so open the Sporting Lisbon faithful were getting very nervous and it was evident that they needed their hero's to get a 2nd goal. This happened in the 53rd minute when yet again Luke Shaw became creator when he found Matteo Politano who curled the ball past the desperate Celtic keeper to make the score 2-0.

Windebank made a formation change and instructed his team to pass the ball as he looked to see the game out a secure a must required victory.

This worked a treat and Sporting Lisbon saw the game out to record a much needed victory especially as Real Madrid dicked all over tier one manager Derek Hughes Roma who Sporting Lisbon leap frogged securing a three point advantage on the Italian side.

Sporting Lisbon edged possession with 51% and created 20 chances to Celtic's 15. Sporting Lisbon had 14 shots on target to Celtic's 10.

That was a solid performance today and a great three points to keep us on the coat tails of Title favourites Real Madrid.

We can only focus on ourselves and we have some tough games coming up in the final stretch of the season, we know we have to win the next seven games really and that is a tough ask, but we have been on winning runs like that already this season.

The games are coming thick and fats now with three games a week so we really have to harness that momentum.

We have a really tough game against Marshy Atletico Madrid on Tuesday and will have to be at our very best to get a victory in that game and revenge for our defeat earlier on the season.

Good game Sam best of luck for the rest of the season mate.

                  Real Madrid 5 - 1 Roma

Run of the mill victory that showed that some things can simply be done better. The once revereed Roma Way succumbed to the Madrid Method with the O.G Galaticos putting on a show, putting the worst team in Rome to the sword in style.

Two from Diaz, one each from Olmo, Kimpembe and Goretzka who shook off some recent transfer speculation to fight for his place in the team next season and rated up to 15-20-15 in the process.

We beat Roma on every measureable metric today in the stats and fully deserved the 3 points. That's 4 points taken from Roma and 6 from Lisbon this season. Taking the majority of the points against the other title challengers could be huge come the end of the season. Big Game Talbot, indeed.

Next up though we have the better team from Rome, Lazio. Keith's team are a very good team, lots of talent throughout. However I expect a cauctious approach from Drum and we may have to switch things up to achieve a result in their back yard, a draw would not be a bad result certainly, so 3 here today against the worst team in Rome was vital.

                  GG Derek.

                    Juventus 2 - 4 PSG

Another defeat against one of the top teams, story of our season it seems.

PSG came at us with A and withing 17 minutes we were 2-0 down and chasing the game.

We pulled a goal back with 10 minutes left in the first half but the visitors restored their 2 goal advantage in first half stoppage time.

Into the second half and we pulled within 1 again just 5 minutes after the restart and we were in the game all the way until the 86th minute when PSG killed us off with their 4th.

Statistically it was fairly even, with PSG shading the stats so a 2 goal loss is a big harsh and on another day we could have shared the points...good game Ed.

We've leaked goals like crazy this season, this is something that needs to be addressed for next season.

                      Valencia 3 - 5 Inter Milan

a great performance away from home with plenty goals and chances again though the one bad take from this is conceeding three goals, its the most one sided game i think i have witnessed for me in FFO wave after wave of attacks and shots but we i think should be scoring more and conceeding less, a theme this season it seems but if we can pick up points it dosnt matter much. gg mate
