Atalanta 5 - 2 Real Betis

This is a shock going off match statistics this was a close battle but terrier and mirancuk finishing were exceptional today and we finally move off the bottom of the table unlucky to betis being on the recieving end of this defeat as really a draw would have been a fair outcome.

Sociedad 1-1 West Brom

Not a great result but given we were playing a lot of squad players to make sure they met their minutes it's maybe not surprising. That is the priority now so we have a full squad available to next season and we don't need to worry about bringing in backup players in the pre season.
Major downside is our main keeper got injured for three games so we're looking at a 16 rater until the end of the season... could be in for some fun scorelines!
West Brom gave us a good battle and deserved their point in the relegation battle.

FC Porto 2-6 Villarreal

Something of a goal fest in this Conference League game with my lads surprising the division by scoring no fewer than 6 out of the 8 goals in a humdinger of a football match. While we enjoyed the better of the stats it also has to be said the score line was very harsh on the home team and in a game where the goals never stopped coming we found ourselves 4-1 up by the half way interval. The second period continued to produce goals a plenty and ended up a huge victory for my lads. Everything just clicked for us today and we do have some sympathy for our opponents who also played a huge part in this spectacle but simply couldn't match our devastating finishing on the day.

PSV 0-0 Cardiff

Meh, would have been nice to hit the net from 17 chances, but it was not to be, though happy enough with the clean sheet with a defender out. Some reasonable abs, but would be good to hit a few wins before eos.
Unfortunately have another defender out for next game, but of a familiar story since I took over.
