Stoke City 2-3 MANCHESTER UNITED

I'm not sure how to sum this game up. We had the better of the game, slightly, but away from home, we had to try and protect our Champions League winning goalkeeper as much as possible, but Stoke made better use of home advantage and was 2 up with 3/4 of the game gone.

That seemed to kick us up the arse and we scored 3 goals in the last 15 minutes to turn the game around. Maybe the subs had the desired impact, maybe the fact we felt "fuck it throw the sink", over loaded their defence, maybe it was our better quality was able to come good late on with Stoke not bolting the doors but continuing to play?

Whatever it was, its another big win, and we need 8 more in the last few weeks to salvage the league campaign

Barnsley 1-0 Norwich

“A much needed win, against a similar side fighting for premier league survival. Braved the C and went up with Delort after a few minutes we then went full pansy and held on to the win thanks to a tough and resilient defensive display. Unfortunately for us - 2 or 3 sides around us also won making this exciting run in to see who stays up even more exciting!” GG Steve all the best

Aston Villa 1 - 0 Crystal Palace

A very close scoreline but we probably did enough to warrant the three points on offer. For a large chunk of this game we was always up against the counter attacking threat from Palace and they did create enough opportunities to hurt us truth be told, we held our nerve though, nudged ahead just past the hour mark through Luka Jovic and from that point the game became a little easier for us. Tight victory, but like I said just about deserved even if it was a little nail biting at times.

Leicester 2-0 Liverpool

A rare and much needed win against a team that maybe had been partying too hard this week.
We did the obvious counter, and it was a fairly even game on the stats, but fortunately it was us that found the net for a change.
Defender Sequiera had a great game and got a goal too. Sneaked out of the bottom 3, but it's as tight as down there, oo missis

Leeds 1 - 2 Huddersfield

Same old shit, played pretty well, even edged the stats but walk away with a loss. All too familiar a feeling.
wouldn’t have expected too much out of a game against this side anyway but ultimately frustrating after seeing us play so well. As usual though it’s a defeat, not all that bothered as I’ve written this season off, even selling front line players before the deadline with improvements in the off season hoped for.

Sheffield United 2 - 1 Arsenal

These are games we should be coming out of will all three points but yet again we fail to take our chances in a game we deserved to win. Ifs and buts but had we not dropped points against the sides at the bottom places we would be top of the table so its clear we are far from where I want and think this side should be.

Time to now start looking at offers that are on the table for Dest, Malacia, Thiago, Correa and Chiesa because something is adrift somewhere.
