BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
What do we need to do to get a win?! Tactical advantage, home advantage, stronger squad and we nearly lose?
Completely stumped as to what to do next and can’t decide if the squad needs a complete overhaul or it’s just a case of a run that’ll fix itself eventually. Only positive is players got good ABS gains but come on… what do we need to do
A fairly tame game this one and also a very close game in which a point secured for each team was probably the correct outcome. We scored in the early stages, changed our tactics around a bit but the game still failed to reach any dizzy heights in terms of a spectacle. The home side found an equalizing goal just before the hour mark and that is how it stayed which was no great surprise given the way the game panned out.
Took a more conservative approach than normal for this match. Watford have a strong squad. The plan worked, Kral scored a brace with the first coming 10 minutes in. From there we were able to control the match. Watford pulled one back just past the hour mark. Overall pleased with the performance today.
Not surprised with the loss, given we had our keeper and 2 best defenders out, but surprised we only lost 2-1!
We tried a passing game, and were on top on the stats, but couldn't get past their monster keeper enough to outscore them. GG dude.
Some decent abs, and a defender and keeper back, but unfortunately another defender out!
Hopefully the club with be boosted by my commitment to them full time, we will see!
I began my Derby career hosting Feyenoord and it saw us lose 2-1 despite being arguably the better side.
We lined up with an attacking formation hoping to make inroads into what we perceived a weaker defence than ours and using that to mask our areas of weakness.
Feyenoord took the lead in the first 10 minutes as Taylor put it through the legs of Ramsdale in the Derby goal, within 12 minutes Feyenoord had raced into a 3-0 lead with a second for Taylor and a goal for Idrissi that Ramsdale should have done better with.
3-0 at half time became 4-0 ten minutes into the second half as Hancko scored a stunning diving header, changes for both sides saw Koopmeiners score his third of the season to get Derby on the board in the 65th minute before 2 goals in 2 minutes gave the scoreline a convincing look that possibly wasn't truly reflective of the performances.
Statistically Feyenoord were the better team and deserved a victory but 6-1 was definitely a flattering score.
Good game Nick, I'm glad this is the last time we'll face you this season!
