Entertaining game. Thought we had secured a draw with an 82nd minute leveller, but Spurs went up the other end and made it 3 - 4 for the win. Apologies to Andy for the loss but we gave it a good go, and the stats where level if not edged slightly in our favour. So one win over Utd and 1 loss verses Spurs in my 2 Chelsea games this season. Not bad. But could be better. If given the nod again by Andy in the future we will endeavour to do better. GG Eduardo.
For a large amount of the game we face 10 men, and we made our superior squad and man advantage count but with only a 1 goal lead the inevitable happened, despite our late efforts to shut up shop and cash in our chips the Saints found a way through.
Only last week we spoke about being in a better vein of form, now we've not won in 3 and have to go to Rome in shocking form.
Frustrating for sure, given we deserved the win, C is the bain of our season again, doesn't work for us, but always works against us. We need to sort this out somehow.
As I say, we have to go to Rome who have just smashed 8 goals in their game, lets see if we can do the unthinkable!
A good result for us considering the opposition came into this game with salvaging a point in mind. We opened the scoring early doors but Rovers who played a large chunk of this game very defensively minded soon pegged us back. Again we nudged ahead and once again the opposition was quick to snuff out our lead midway through the first 45. We was though the dominant team and eventually won the game by two clear goals to deservedly take all three points.
Pile of shite! To be fair, I hold my hands up and say we should have continued with a cautious approach, but must have felt over confident after some decent results.
That said five nil is not really a fair representation of the match, but some days they all go in, or don't
We changed up to a Passing game, and went Attacking late on, but not much worked today. GG Darren
Unfortunately Bellotti picked up a booking and will miss the WM QF, which makes midweek an even tougher game.
We really needed the three points here. We knew we were giving up TA but we like how we play with a P. It didn’t work out. We did end up having TA for a lot of the game but went behind again later on the game. We had the better of the game and it was quite interesting to see Palace go D near the end against one of the worst sides in the prem. But you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. It’s so tight down there (not sexually) All the best.
Leeds United 0 - 1 Norwich City D_Llorente (injured 39) J_Tah (15) W_Zaha (injured 63) T_Tomiyasu (sent off 69)
joke of a game and back to early season poor luck for us.
two players injured and 1 sent off making our midweek game a game where we can barely field a team. Crazy bad luck really.
We dominated the game and we’re by far the better team but when the engine decides you’re losing that’s that, nothing you can do.
fingers crossed we can see the midweek game through and also get no further casualties or red cards

We fought bravely and even though the home side edge the stats I feel our attacking play deserved to win us the game. Noni Madueke with a superb hattrick and overall great abs gained. Top performance away from home and pleasing to see us giving The Citizens a run for the top spot.
Well played Steve. And thanks for letting me know you sheeted:
A good win away at Leicester City and a clean sheet which also sees us get back to back wins. Another pretty large scoreline in the league and some decent abs for the players which is nice. Not sure the game warrented a five nil score, but the stats do suggest that anything but a win for us would have been harsh as we were the better of the two sides. A very good result that warms us up nicely for the second leg of the Champions League this week.
Boy did we need this! For moral and sanity. Did we expect it and or deserve it no. Burnley are a class side and to take a point (which would have been fairer) would have been the maximum we would expect from the game.
We played really well and gave ourselves a shot at survival.
Good game Simon, apologies you deserved at least a point from the game.
It's funny how things can turn around in this game and we now have 3 wins on the bounce. We now aren't even looking at relegation and may be able to get into Europe. Our tactics have been solid for the last few games and it shows. That said we aren't settled and would like to keep moving up.
