Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
This is one of those frustrating match days in FFO, where both of my teams have been a little bit screwed by the engine.
We absolutely deserved to win this game, Liverpool were shit and we dominated the game but just continued to miss our chance's. We played well overall so it is difficult to be disheartened as you'd hope with this level of performance most weeks you'll get three points but even so it's annoying when you have played like this and not gotten what you deserved. Anyway, onwards
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
A thriller played out at Villa Park as Mo Salah in particular ran riot against The Toffees. After scoring an opener in the first minute of the game we never looked back and by half time was five goals to the good as we ran riot and the opposition who attempted to counter for the majority just didn't have an answer. The second period was much closer with both sides notching up two goals each but it was the star man Salah who stole the show by finding the back of the Everton goal on four occasions.
All in all we are fortunate to come away with a point in this one which has been the case far to many times this season against sides lower than us in the table. An obvious difference in the rosters but Barnsley were the much better of the two sides in this one and had Chiesa not chipped in with his 20th of the season, we'd have returned back to London with nothing which in all fairness would have supported the stats. A point away is always a decent result especially when you deserved naff all so we will gladly take it.
Well played mate, best of luck for the second half of the season
Ooh hang on, does two good wins in a row count as being in-form?
It all went to plan here, tactically played to get advantage, and were on top on the stats
The only surprise was where the goals came from, with defender Dunk netting twice. Ul Mike
Consolidating our position nearer mid-table, fingers crossed things carry on positively, oh hang on, Man City away next, maybe not.
Wow, a win. This was an early six pointer and this win means that Stoke now sit on the foot of the table. A very early goal decided this as it meant we could dictate tactics. It was an even game so Stoke can feel a little hard done by. Delighted that this lifts us out of the relegation zone for now.
We didn't deserve to lose this game, but yet again we're on the end of the wrath of the ESMS gods. We more than held our own against probably the best side in the game but it wasn't enough. Most likely my insistence in playing a positive game which cost us,instead of hiding behind the D tactic, maybe its time to change.Well done Nick.
"Kind words from the Arsenal gaffer. We probably shaded it, we decided to play football and it pulled off a great result in our opinion. We won't be happy until we are mathematically away from the drop zone and realistically that won't happen. So, we keep going. James Madison and Erik Lamela level up to 18 rated, which should benefit our push to survive the drop. GG Darren.
On a side note I am unhappy to hear of the resignation from the Stoke manager. He is a quality guy and boss and we hope he is back soon."
