Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
A game in which the home side played the better football and in many ways we was holding on. Can't say I'm not a bit disappointed with my teams performance because I expected better, especially given the opposition had 2 key players missing. We took the lead against the run of play but in the end did well to come away with a draw. Half time and all to play for.
MANCHESTER UNITED 4-1 AS Roma
This is probably the best showing of our season as man for man we dominated the tie. We expected the Roma way and planned accordingly to put ourselves in a great position at the halftime mark.
Despite the positional jumping in the second half that just helped mask the dominance we showed and Roma scoring goes completely against the flow of the game but 2 late goals gave us the lead we deserve.
The game is hardly a four-one conclusion, there's 90 minutes in Rome and the Roma way needs to restore it's reputation so we need our A game again. But today was very pleasing for sure.
At 89 minutes we were 2-1 down and still in this tie. 2 injury time goals though put paid to our CL chances for another season. With Man Utd's strong 7 man defence, we are under no illusions about the 2nd leg.
In truth, we never got going in this game and deserve to go out.
A week ago we were thinking about the triple. Now we only have a 3rd title to pursue
We are undeterred though and will continue to attack with fearless abandon. An approach that has won us many fans.
City 0-0 Bayern
on the face of it this is a really good result but having match them for shots on target we feel like we should have scored. We go back to Germany as underdogs of course but we wont give up too easy
"Its been a long time since we got to this stage and some of these players were expected to freeze and I think we did ok. We are disappointed not to be taking a lead home but against the best team in the world, a draw away is "ok"

PSG 1 Aston Villa 1
I guess with 2 key attacking players injured, and an 11 rated defender coming on after 15 minutes, to add to the already weakened defence including 16 rated Danilo, I ought to be grateful with a point. However, a shot count of 15 v 6 suggests we were unlucky not to take all 3 points. Oddly we conceded whilst having tactical advantage with C v P, but levelled when E v P. Maybe C really is shit these days. At least we go back to Villa Park level for an away game to settle the tie, courtesy of goal #29 in his 30th game, and a 15th MoM performance for Joao Felix.

Was in two minds what to do pre game. Sterling being out cut down our options though and made us adopt a cautious yet attacking approach. Arsenal playing long ball though just went right through us like a hot knife through butter in the first minute to score the first goal (and only goal) of the game. On 5 minutes they switched to attacking also and also suffered a forward being sent off. I was rubbing my hands together thinking happy days, but alas the performance just did not come as I expected. It was a scrappy game, an odd game really with a low amount of shots for A vs A until the home side shut up shop in the 75th minute. We just couldn't get into the game and in the end the team that spluttered less took home the win.
For a game that was A v A, I expected a bit more between the two sides really. We went into it really with nothing to lose, they are a very strong side so we set up slightly different and managed to get a big win. First leg with the second back at their place so we certainly wont get carried away, they have shown in recent seasons how strong they are and we know that to make it through we need an even bigger performance than this one.
Even so though, still a confidence boost to beat the side that sits top of EFL 1, especially as we played a large part of the game with ten men after Chiesa saw red.
