    MANCHESTER UNITED 1-3 Everton

Complacent with my sheet and got what we deserved. No issues in the loss as what did get put out simply didn't turn up. We had some joy playing similar set ups recently and thought we might be able to get away with it again but alas, Everton brought their A game.

Like I said, complacent and lazy sheeting, saw a first minute sub made which is school boy for sure so we need better for Roma midweek.

      Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham

With both teams trying to play on the front foot it was West Ham United that took an early lead even though it was somewhat against the run of play. It took right until the 75th minute of the game for us to level the proceedings and that goal coming through the unlikely source that is defender Hans Hateboer. Both teams kept pushing but it was a last gasp late winner for us thanks to Florian Wirtz who smashed home a half volley to give us all the points.

        Chelsea 1 Leeds 5

Well the wheel has well and truly come off as we were spanked at home by Leeds.Looks like I will have to be more Conservative in my approach from now on.Good game Tim, you deserved your win.

          Chelsea 1 Leeds 5

Happy birthday to me!! 6 on the bounce in the league after about 20 with no win …… well slightly over the top maybe but you get my point.
we certainly were not worthy of a 5 - 1 win but we probably deserved the three points. It’s such a relief to finally be on the good side of the engine and showing what we can actually do because on paper we are a strong team.
interestingly we set up identically and with us being the away side I was think that we might be turned over but we have shown a hell of a strength in this formation with the players we have and it suits them. Beating Chelsea who are a hell of a team with a fantastic manager just highlights that. We obviously can’t play that way every week or we will be easy enough to predict and prepare against but is a hell of a weapon in our arsenal.
unlucky Andy. We didn’t deserve to win as handsomely as that. Good luck for your next load of games

            Stoke City 0 - 2 Arsenal

Two early goals secured another win for Arsenal with finishing being the difference between the twos ides in this one as Stoke City had more of the game over the 90 minutes. A big three points overall as sides around us dropped points meaning we are able to close the gap a little and put more pressure on the sides above us. We wont get carried away, we have had a run of a few wins but know a run of defeats is usually just around the corner as per.

            Played mate.

              Burnley 4-2 Crystal Palace

A great game and one which we were leading twice but as usual, we lost. Again, Burnley are up there so it's not a game we would normally expect to win but we're a hopeless case right now.

                Stoke City 0 - 2 Arsenal

Played well, didn’t win, story of the season so far.

Sh*t creek time without a paddle, new captain new midfielder to replace J Henderson on Friday and then we have half a season to save outselves. My money is on the drop. Enjoyment levels dropping even doing so well in the WM cup. Which we will probably lose to a strong Lyon side. Could be worse we could be without Europe totally.

Good game Darren good luck in your next games.

                  Sheff Utd 1-0 Leicester

Bit disappointed with this one, as the Blades were light in defence, particularly with another going off injured.
However we didn't get enough shots on target and were too predictable.
I'm calling it a loss to Pompey, as it doesn't feel so bad :P Gg Kels
About where i thought at mid season, could go either way though

                    Barnsley 3-1 Sheffield Wednesday

“We left it late to secure the win here, we almost dragged so called star striker Delort after his failed fancy penalty but he struck twice late to double his season tally and secure an incredible win that takes us to 14th. A long way to go, with a trip to Man City next. We are nervous as we hope to survive our first season in the premier league”. GG Mike. All the best
