    Sevilla 0 - 1 Marseille

Absolute daylight robbery! Biggest miscarriage of justice in my 1.5 seasons in FFO ...

Yes we had 2 x 19 raters unavailable for this crucial game - but we still created 27 chances to 11 with 63% possession ....

Correctly predicted their tactics and planned accordingly ....

We wanted the win so went Attacking with 20 to play, and they got the winner the next minute!!

Tight at the bottom so we are now 20th rather than 17th had we won ... at least we are back to full strength for the next game ...

      PSG 2 Sporting Lisbon 1

A big night in the Parc des Princes where the current League leaders visited the last FFO 1 and defending Champions PSG (formally known as PSV). This was going to be another test of Sporting Lisbon's title aspirations.

PSG came out attacking with Lisbon playing a more considered passing approach as the Portuguese outfit dominated the opening 10 minutes in which they took the lead when Luke Shaw found man mountain Casemiro who found the net with a goal of the season effort.

Windebank and Sporting Lisbon did not sit on this lead and the game went with both sides attacking for the rest of the match.

Both sides were really going for it with both sides having various spells on top. Hakimi hit the bar for PSG in the 29th minute and Costa in the PSG goal was equal to everything Sporting Lisbon threw at him.

There was unrest in the home stands but as they where making their way for their half time refreshments Pino brought the game level in the final minute of injury time.

Juan Mata hit the bar for Sporting Lisbon in the 49th minute as they searched for the next goal trying to hold on to top spot of the League.

But from the 68th minute onwards PSG were taking control of more and more of the game. This culminated in Tonali breaking Portuguese hearts after he took advantage of a mistake by Luke Shaw and with luck on his side his lob hit the bar and nestled into the back of the net to give PSG the lead in the 83rd minute.

Sporting Lisbon dominated the final ten minutes of the game but could not find the equaliser.

PSG edged possession with 53% and created 22 shots to 19, however Sporting Lisbon had one more shot on target with 13 to 12.

      Windebank's Post Match Comments

We gave a good account of ourselves today and left everything on the pitch. I think we did enough to get at least a draw but us was not meant to be. PSG are a quality side with a manager that wins trophies so we can't be too disappointed with today's outcome.

Real Madrid and Barcelona leap frog us and no doubt Steve Talbot will be sitting smuggly in his office mentally shining the League Trophy he thinks is his by default.

We need to dust ourselves down and hopefully bounce back with a win on Sunday against title challengers Barcelona.

Great game as always Ed and best of luck for the season
