I wish we could have some of this WM form/luck in the league, but hey I aint complaining
This was a hard fought game against a strong side, who countered us, so must be feeling a bit hard done by with the loss.
Lyon edged the stats, but we were more clinical, with Rebic netting a couple more.
So through with 6/6 wins, fingers crossed for a good draw.

Atalanta 1 - 2 Stoke City Despite the loss really happy here as we managed to keep scoreline down and same time play some fringe players to gain some minutes and actually werent a bad game all credit to Bridginho 6 out of 6 wins dominanated the group well done good game pal.

Atalanta 1 - 2 Stoke City

Atalanta away was always going to be a tricky game. Even with a few of their players out. I felt being positive was the way to go and that playing that way we could finish the group 6 out of 6.

First action of the game saw us take the lead and showing how tough they are to play against Atalanta equalised straight away.

It seemed end to end at that point until new boy De_Jong managed to get the winner. Glad to get though to the next round and hopefully keep this Tuesday football going.

Congrats to Atalanta too coming through second. Definitely not an easy group. Good luck in the next round Ryan, you’re doing an amazing job in Italy!
