    Chelsea 4-3 MANCHESTER UNITED

This result shows just how infuriating the season can be, and is for us. No doubt over the game we lost out but when leading twice, and at 3 intervals having set up to counter it provides little strength it seems, which has been the case all season. We came into the game missing probably our 2 best players and now have another player missing for next week with another red card picked up.

I'm keeping a lot of what I want to sat bottled up, but whatever!

No complaints but its the way of it these days, no positives at all to be taken today.

      Leeds United 2 - 0 Palace

Fuck me get the flags out, a clean sheet and we finished a couple of our Many many chances. Finally we turn dominance into three points. It’s a rare game this where we actually haven’t been knackered over by the engine.
a couple of goals from Wilf was enough to get us over the line, we probably could have won by four or five to be honest looking at the stats but a very much needed win is this and a pretty important one for us. Hopefully we can build on it and pull ourselves away from trouble (can’t believe I’m having to say that)

        Leeds United 2-0 Crystal Palace

The second time we have played Leeds this week and this time they turn us over. Not surprising looking at the stats and not the tactics we planned but that's my fault. I'm still trying to find our best way of playing so this could be a long season.

          Newcastle United 3 - 1 Aston Villa

Certainly Newcastle United's day today. Both teams set out playing a similar tactic but with differing formations and although the home team swapped their tactics around a couple of times during the second period it was they who prospered. We had slightly the better of the stats but this day didn't belong to us, as at one stage we was three goals down before collecting what proved to be a consolation.

            Barnsley 3-2 Blackburn Rovers

It is games like this where we need to pick up a point or more! After our embarrassing display midweek in Europe- the lads showed phenomenal strength and resilience to come from a goal down, twice, and then snatched a late winner through super sub Lamela. Lamela was raging that he was dropped despite being our second best midfielder but he channeled that anger into a fantastic little cameo off the bench. GG Ryan all the best

              Southampton 3 - 4 Stoke City

What can I say, we needed this. We needed the points and with a last gasp winner.

Setting up for TA felt a bit strange, I try to stay away from aiming for it because most of the time it bites me in the ass.

After conceding with the first action I thought history repeated itself. However we were able to have the lions share of the stats away at the high flying hosts. Their array of attacking talent is amazing and to outscore them was the only way to take the points. I was very nervous reading the report though!

We need a lot more wins and a few more transfers over the next few weeks will put us in better stead for the battle!

              Unlucky Jamie, good game!

                Chelsea 4 - 3 Manchester Utd

Took charge of this game for Andy Babbs who is an excellent manager so big boots to fill. Chelsea were flying high and up into 2nd place prior to this game following a good run of form - so the pressure was on to not mess up the momentum created by Andy.

I am quite familar with a few of the Chelsea players with Robertson, Gomez, Savic and Fekir (former Coutinhio) all being former Madrid players but a few of the others I hadn't worked with before so I was interested to check out what was under the bonet and to really put this team through their places by bringing in a version of the Madrid Method to my Chelsea Crusaders for the day.

The answer to my query, was that there was a nice purr indeed to this Chelsea engine but it wasn't plain sailing, far from it. United also went attacking (which I was happy to see) and took a 0-2 lead. I didn't make any immediate changes, as I had faith in the set up that we had going for the time being. Thankfully the team did start to click into the new system for them and pulled it back to level at 2-2 with goals from Savic and James. United then again showed their worth by taking the lead again but again switched to the poor counter attacking style again with the lead and we managed to chop them off and come back into it thanks to a set play built off the training ground from Richarlison on 56 minutes, which happened directly after Utd got a man sent off.

The Chelsea Crusaders then piled on the pressure, especially helped by United switching back to Attacking, which helped to open up their tired ten men. The winner came in the dying minutes with a cracker of a goal from Reece James, his second of the day to secure an entertaining but deserved 4-3 victory (with a 33-16 shot count) and an important three points that see's Chelsea cruise right up to now only being two points behind Manchester City!

GG SteveO, and good luck with the title charge Andy.

                  Leicester 0-0 Everton

Not quite what we were hoping for, but about ok based on the stats.
We tried countering their expected C with an E for half the game, before going to our strength, and neither worked that well.
We were a bit wayward with our shooting, or maybe it could have been different. Gg dude.
Only Man U away next week, oh dear. A few sides around us won this week, so it's all tight down the bottom half of the league

                    Man City 3 - 2 Arsenal

The hardest fixture of the season for pretty much everyone in this division and we very nearly nicked a point although it would have been very lucky as on that performance, we didn't really deserve much from it however, a point would have been a class result but it wasn't to be.

Chiesa keeping the goals coming in though will do and a rare one from Dybala will hopefully kick him into gear but the points today were taken by the better side.

                      West Ham 1 - 2 Burnley

West Ham is out of form. However, we didn´t expect an easy game. I was quite confident we were going to face either E tactics (seems to be Todd´s favourite tactics) or C, which didn´t make the decision of our tactics easy at all. In the end it was a E vs E clash for the majority of the game.

The match started well as Bergwijn scored an early goal. We switched to A after 20 minutes giving us extra bonus. Yet, West Ham managed to equalize from a free kick soon after. The rest of the match was pretty much in our control and Dembele scored the winner in minute 64. Overall, a very solid performance from our defense (just three shots on target from WHU) and midfield (Pogba with two assists). We must work on our attacking efficiency though - 17 attempts on goal and just two goals scored is not good at all.

Anyway, after a horrible start of the season we sit on 4th position in the table now having the best form of the Prem teams. As we are out of the CL joining the title race is our priority now.

                          Owls 1 - 2 Spurs

Things went in our favor in this one and we picked up a nice win away to Sheffield Wednesday.

After a scoreless first half we fell behind early in the second half but we showed character when we turned the game around. Ibrahim Sangare leveled before Youssef En-Nesyei won is the game with ten minutes left to play. Decent performance but the result the only thing thats matter these days.

                          Well played Mike.
