    Bristol City 1 - 1 Middlesbrough

A good away point against a team just above us in the table.

We both set out with the same tactic and it wasn't long before the hosts took the lead. We switched to A in search of a goal and 7 minutes before the break, we found it through C_Akpom.

Into the second half and we were in control of the game, leading to a tactics change by Bristol City to N on 70 minutes, giving us TA for the next 15 minutes until they switched to C on 85 minutes, but neither team took advantage of their TA and the game ended 1-1.

Statistically it was an even game so a draw was a fair result, good game Jon.

Atalanta 1 - 3 RB Leipzig Well I think we know now I'm failing as a caretaker had only 1 win and about 5 losses since I've been here its simply not good enough we have ti improve i know it were a bad side and some decent changes have been made but the style i play just not suiting this team so back to the drawing board see what we can come up with.

        Forest 1 - 2 Königsblauen

Lucky win in a game we really had to fight for the three points. We went a goal down early on but straight from the kick off Ruben Loftus Cheek leveled. The home side was unlucky to score an own goal in the 15th minute and somehow it was the decisive goal.

We lost Thomas Ouwejan through a red card with fourty minutes left of the game but we fought bravely and got the win. It’s so tight in this league and back to back wins has lifted us to 6th in the table. If we’re able to be a little more consistent in our performance, we should be able to fight for a playoff spot.

        Well played Matt.

          PSV 1-0 Villarreal

A tight game and I guess considering that PSV now have a superstar striker within their ranks as well as a stronger core of players compared to Villarreal losing by just a single goal isn't a bad result but make no mistake, it still hurts. Positive results don't come easy for this Villarreal outfit but we keep plugging away.

            Jammy Wolves 1 - 0 Porto

Second time recently that we have lost to a last kick of the game. Came with a game plan and executed minus the last kick of the game. We played fine, had just about the better of the stats and certainly didn't deserve to lose the game. Shame to lose like that but this team has won a fair few pretty tight games so this is the way it goes from time to time, have to just suck it up and move on. Stioll uber tight this table and we are still very close. Hopefully we can get the rub of the green next game.

              Sociedad 1-1 Cardiff

Not a great performance from the lads, and we certainly didn't deserve any better than a draw.
Two quick fire goals in the first half were all the game had to show. gg dude
We seem to have lost our mojo since making a transfer a couple of weeks ago, maybe we can regain it once some players uprate, as a few are getting close to it now, including our young keeper.
The league is still tight as anything, and a couple of wins would put us right back in it again, onwards we go.

                Wolves 1
                Melendo (90)
                Injured: A_Kalajdzic (45)
                Booked: Emerson_Royal (19), A_Kalajdzic (37)

                FC Porto 0

                MotM: Melendo (Wolves)
                HT: 0-0

Very little between these two sides throughout the game. Our striker Sasa Kalajdzic had a nightmare of a game getting booked in the 37th minute then going off just before the half time whistle blew with a suspected hamstring injury. Without our focal point up front the second half was a chore for us as we just couldn't find any cutting edge at all. In hindsight I should have moved young sub Jaidon Anthony into an attacking midfield role and shoved Cody Gakpo up front. But thankfully with the last kick of the game our Spanish midfielder Oscar Melendo stepped up to score and extend his current rich vein of form.

Very unlucky Tim, you summed the game up perfectly......."Jammy Wolves" and hopefully we stay jammy for the rest of the season

Next game up is back to the WM Cup as we go away from home to face Ajax.

Injury update: It has been confirmed that Sasa Kalajdzic will miss the next three games.

                  Bristol City 1 - 1 Middlesbrough

After a run of wins, this was an even match where the draw was a fair result. The stats definitely even and can’t have any complaints against a good team.

Managed to get through another game without a sending off or injury, so that’s a result. We want to continue the season as we’ve done so far - being hard to beat and winning more than we’re losing. Overall it’s been a pleasing first third of the season. The aim was top half at the start of the season and nothing’s really changed - the difference between top and mid-table is minimal and all it takes is a couple of defeats to be back in the lower half of things.

Minutes are going to remain tricky for us - we don’t have any cups (after unfairly only being in one and losing a tight match v Southampton in the first round of that). We don’t want to be in a position where we either lose players or have to give massive minutes later in the season so we are trying to manage this.

A tricky match away to Ajax next, who sit in 7th but would leapfrog us with a win.

Played AB - thanks for the competitive game.

                    PSV 1-0 Villarreal

"Not a glamorous win, but we should be beating sides like villarreal but I guess I could say that about a few games this season so its nice for this one to actually finish that way, teams will find it hard against us for the rest of the season now, with the likes of Barella and Mbappe in the squad, it means we really ought to be pushing to win more games and 3 out of our last 5 is a good foundation to start on, hopefully we can have more consistency going forward, this game wasnt one for the neutrals but we got what was important today and now we look to a difficult Middlesborough trip on Thursday."

                      Real Sociedad 1 Cardiff 1
On reflection a point away at Sociedad is probably a good point. However, we seem to be drawing too many games, and still sit near the bottom of the table. On a positive note, we have managed to go 5 games unbeaten, and Kroos finally had a decent game. Next up is high flying Feyenoord, but hopefully we can build upon our recent results

                        Sunderland 1 - Derby County 1

After a very good performance in the victory over PSV we travelled to face high-flying Sunderland and within 2 minutes we were behind to a Nunes goal. Following this setback both teams adjusted their mindset and before the hlaf hour mark we had equalised through Andersen.

Statistics wise we dominated the game but this was largely because Sunderland chose to sit back and defend to try and hold onto the game but we weren't able to beat Leno in the Sunderland goal for a second time.

Good game David, good luck in your promotion push
