    MANCHESTER UNITED 3-1 Stoke City

After a poor run of form, it's pleasing to get back to winning ways and we showed our muscle here. It was never in doubt in the end despite us gifting an own goal late I'm pleased with the days work.

There's a lot still to do, but we'll keep plugging and we'll look to put a run together which we're well over due, but as long as we keep getting the developments into the players we'll see more of the squad as it grows. But next up, is a big Champions League game, win and we're through!

      Manchester United 3 - 1 Stoke City

Countered the home side with N, but the gulf in class was obviously too much even with TA. After going a goal and then 2 down we played more attacking and left ourselves open at the back.

It’s looking like moving McSauce on was a mistake even though Gueye is better overall. Since he’s moved in our form has been in the toilet.

We have a further addition this week Berge, but I think he’ll be moving out as quickly as he comes in.

Something needs to change and fast.

        Spurs 1 - 0 Saints

A good win at home to The Saints and even though they had tactical advantage for the majority of the game, we was the better team. Outstanding defensively once again.

Ramy Bensebaini scored the only goal of the game after an hour played. Top performance from Bensebaini and together with Etienne Green in goal they was the two stand out players.

We’ve now gone ten games without a loss and placed ourselves in a very good position for the remainder of the season. It’s been a dream start for us and hopefully we can keep it going for a little longer.

        Well played Jamie.

            \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\citeh 3 - 2 Leeds

Here comes the next bitchfest! Played really well against a juggernaut of a side, went ahead twice and gave them a real run for their money. But ultimately as with the rest of the season so far got fuck all luck other than bad. I mean perhaps stats wise they p[probably did edge it so not like most of our games this season but we did play better than I thought we may have done. Going into the last 15 minutes I really was just waiting for the inevitable late winner and for us to go behind for the first time in the game and of course it came and for all of our effort we go away with nothing.
On to the next and lets see how we get knackered over next time out!

              Crystal Palace 0-2 Aston Villa

It's been a very lean time of late for us here at Aston Villa so this victory is a very welcome one. Playing a large part of their game hoping to hit on the break the home side who went down to ten men after 16 minutes failed to get forward enough to cause any major issues for us. It was the Villa front man Lautaro Martinez who caused the damage as far as the home side were concerned with two goals in quick succession during the second period of play. Ian Greaves now hopping this result triggers a change of fortune.

                Arsenal 6 - 0 Sheffield United

We have to go into games at home against sides struggling looking for three points but after Sheffield United beat Man City in the last round, coupled with our patchy form, I was a little bit nervous with this one. The way we have been playing in some games and getting nothing to show for our efforts, a team was going to get a hiding from us sooner or later and it came this round with a really good performance by the team.

We move up the table a little bit but still have a lot of work to do in order to claw back lost points from games we should have got something from but the last four or five games have been better from us, now we focus on the Champions League on Tuesday as we travel to Juventus who will be riding high after their win over Marseille.

                  West Ham 2 Chelsea 3

Well we did our best to lose this ding dong match, but eventually ran out 3-2 winners thankfully, mainly due to 2 goal and man of the match Richarlison. Its good to get back on winners trail again, and hopefully we can continue it as well.Todds having a good season at West Ham so this is a good win.Well played mate.

                    Crystal Palace 0-2 Aston Villa

Here we go, reverting back to form. The sending off of our striker in the first half won't have helped but then Villa scored two without reply. We can't find any decent form now and we're slipping back down the table.

                      Liverpool 3-3 Leicester

Exciting game, on the visit to one of my old clubs. We'd decided to throw caution to the wind with the signing of Rebic, and started with 3 up front. To be honest the performance wasn't great, but at least the finishing was good, and Rebic got man of the match, so the early signs are that maybe the gamble might have been worth it. It was pretty one sided on the stats, so I'm sure HB won't be very happy with the result, particularly with the late equaliser going in.
We had a defender out, and will again next match now, with Dunk going off injured, otherwise I can be fairly happy with the match.
Kante also upgraded to the 13 19, so maybe I can advertise him again

                        Norwich 0-2 Barnsley

“If we are going to stay up we need to win these kind of games and that’s exactly what we did. We raced to a two goal lead which meant a reshuffle and a defensive set up for most of the game. Stats wise we got lucky but we will take this and hope that Delort’s penalty and first goal in over 1300 minutes of football starts a little goal scoring spree that he oh so desperately needs.”

GG mate all the best until we meet again
