BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
31 shots. 16 on target versus 7 on target. 20 rated keeper versus 19 rated keeper. We battered them. Had TA most of the game. Just a joke of a result. Let’s see if the lads can finish their fucking dinner. As for our keeper, we knew he shouldn’t have gone to Munich. Moving on to the next game. Best to forget about this.
Well spin my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska. What’s this……… a league
win?? rarer than a Spaniard in a Parker.
Not much different to most games this season, totally dominant in the stats, not able to make the score line reflect it, the obligatory red card and then the thing that sets it apart is we actually grab a late winner. Certainly bucking the trend and it helps in our inevitable dogfight against relegation. Can we play the wendies every week?
Sorry JB rushing that sheet majorly tonight. Will try and remember when I’m sat at my desk tomorrow to change that keeper out once and for all.
played Sheffield all the best!
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Blackburn Rovers 2 - 0 Crystal Palace Well after us being all over the media of late regarding Mbappe well we can tell you hes been sold and didnt feature in this match amd we did better without him we went new tactics and formation and it worked a dream we were the far superior side in this game against Palace.who have a good manager and a good side very happy to grab a win after 4 straight loses just what we needed now let's get them new lads and hopefully win some more games.
We just can't buy a league win of late. Despite being hit on the counter in this game we did give a decent account of ourselves and was unlucky to come away pointless. The away side struck first and went in a goal to the good at the interval, we deservedly levelled the game back up in the second period but was thwarted by a late Spurs winner.
Did we deserve the win? No. But we’ll take it. A game where the home side was the better team but we defended really well and took our chances when we got them.
Youssef En-Nesyri got the opening goal from a scorcher of a shot and we kept ourselves in front at half time. The Villains was back in the game midway through the second half thanks to a clever finish from Mohamed Salah.
However, we didnt want to settle with a draw and went with attacking play the last twenty minutes of the game. Mohammed Kudus made it worth when he scored from his own rebound from the post. Very satisfying to be able to take all three points on an evening we played way below par.
Just can't get a win at the minute in the league and it's becoming frustrating for sure. Peter mixed it up from the recent starting approach and it worked, we seem to continue to struggle against counter attacking teams not matter how we set up and today was no different.
Once our old boy, Diego Godin got sent off we made use of the extra man, and I felt as the game went on we deserved to win, but we didn't do enough.
We need to sort ourselves out soon because this isn't good enough form. Hopefully as players develop we can see a better turn around.
Sometimes fortune favours you, sometimes it doesn't. I can't argue that we were lucky to win our last game, but I think we deserved something out of this one.
It started well, with attacking midfielder Powell scoring in the 7th minute, but they came back at us and got two before half-time.
Some tactical changes ensued, but no further goals.
We edged the shot count, but their keeper made the difference perhaps.
GG dude.
We are dipping into the transfer market this week, so fingers crossed it makes a difference
Our worst game of the season. This was another example of how the Euro tactic never works for us. Blackburn opened the scoring despite only have one striker and it meant we changed tactics and were countered for the rest of the match. Losing a key midfielder in the 62nd minute obviously put any result out of touch. It was a drab game with few chances for either side and one that sees us drop further than I would like in the table.
The Gunners returned back to North London with a good three points against one of the early pace setters of the season, Southampton who will feel a bit hard done by to have lost the game. Two from Correa, a strike from Chiesa and the fourth from Thiago ensured that Arsenal now make it four unbeaten with eight points from a possible twelve so a slight improvement.
The Arsenal boss spoke after the game ;
" Still well behind where we feel we should be but the poor start to the season has given us a bit of a mountain to climb really although this win will certainly give us confidence going forward as they have been superb this season so far but we played really well so delighted to come away with the win ".
It was tought to predict Leicester tactics so we decided to go for 523P. Clash of two Passing tactics resulted in a quite an interesting and equal match. We had a slight advantage in a stronger keeper, which probably decided the match as Sommer made 8 saves and let only one in. Good to see Toney and Guedes to score, as well as some solid abs gained by our defense.
After a terrible start of the season we are now back in the premier league table position with the aim to be in top5 by round 15.
The stats will tell you we got away with this one, but I beg to differ. Home advantage, tactical advantage, and stronger roster should have been enough. But again this game has a mind of its own most of the time, and theres little we can do about it. Liverpool are an improving side no doubt, but I believe were dropping points against the run of play. Not a good day at the office, and even worse with O_Edouard injured for the next match. League match tonight ,and Champions League on tuesday night so onward we March.Well played mate.
