    Borussia Dortmund 3 - 3 PSG

Having won our previous two games we were showing signs of improvement lately, but that didn't make this game any easier as PSG have quality players in all areas of the pitch. Things didn't get off to a great start for us though as it took only 24 minutes for the visitors to take a two-goal lead. But Campana who by the way has been in excellent form for us, got us back into the game with a goal on 26 minutes, two minutes after Campana's goal Patson Daka got in on the act and equalised just two minutes later. Then we took the lead on 34 minutes with a goal from Rutter.

Unfortunately, we were unable to hold the lead for long as PSG leveled the game at 3-3, and that was how it finished. The second half didn't match the intensity of the first, as both sides failed to add to their respective goal tallies. I'm disappointed not to have taken all three points from the game but a draw is a satisfactory result as it moves us up the table slightly, still a long way to go but things seem to be looking up.

      AC Milan 2 - Monaco 1

I don't know how many more times I can put it down to a bad day at the office before we start to face the reality that we just aren't quite good enough for this league.

We travelled to Milan missing Aaron Cresswell, who has been our most solid defender this season, through injury resulting in us playing Palomino who is only with us to get him some gametime and within the first 2 minutes of the game it was as good as over!

Milan raced into a 2 goal lead in 2 minutes and then promptly attempted to shut up shop, 3 minutes after that we through Coates to give ourselves a foothold in the game - and 85 minutes left to get something from it.

On the half hour mark Coates got himself into the referee's notebook following a hard challenge and then already walking a tightrope earned himself a second yellow on the stroke of half time.

Just before the hour mark we lost Arthur to a red card following some pushing and shoving with one of the Milan players who came away without punishment, meaning we had, at that point, just over half an hour to try and get something from the game - while making sure that our 9 men against 11 didn't do further damage to our goal difference.

The biggest fallout from this however, is that we go into our next match, a must-win game against Celtic, with 3 key players unavailable - 2 of them completely self inflicted!

Good game Mati, good luck for the rest of the season
