    Derby County 1 - Feyenoord 2

On the one hand I'm dissapointed in this result we matched Feyenoord in terms of possession but we made their keeper work significantly harder than Aaron Ramsdale did!

Pederson grabbed a lead for Feyenoord around the hour mark, only for Teemu Pukki to come off the bench and get an equaliser for Derby 10 minutes later unfortunately for Derby a foul in the box by Ramsdale saw Feyenoord retake the lead and we couldn't come back a second time.

A fourth consecutive defeat, 5 defeats in 6 matches, and we sit 18th in the conference it's going to take a lot of hard work both off and on the pitch to put this right!

Good game Nick, good luck for the rest of the season

      Hornets 2 - 1 Königsblauen

We’re having a bad run these days and we lost our third in four games. Very open game but we missed the target on most of our chances. The Hornets didn’t and secured a good win. We’re slipping down the table and must find back to the performances we had at the early stages of the season.

      Well played Tony.

        Villarreal 1-1 Cardiff City

A pleasing while at the same time frustrating game for Villarreal gaffer Ian Greaves. Cardiff are a team who like to play very muçh on the front foot and were countered pretty effectively by the home side. First goal deservedly went the way of the Spanish outfit and this was one of a few occasions where Villarreal outplayed their opponent. There was a sting in the tail though as Cardiff who also had opportunities levelled up the tie on the brink of half time. Ian Greaves side again looked the more likely to score a winner during the second period but it wasnt to be.

          Melendo (11,59), A_Kalajdzic (33), M_Cuisance (46) Q_Timber (53)

          PSV 2
          S_Gimenez (86), D_Malen (90)
          Booked: R_Navarro (46), Joao_Pedro (59)

          MotM: Melendo (Wolves)
          HT: 2-0

That was just what we needed to keep pace near the top. The Molineux crowd roared the side on from the start. Great performance from our midfield scoring four of the five goals, MotM Oscar Melendo with a starring role grabbing a brace. We certainly dominated possession throughout the game, but strangely the shots on target were pretty even which shows what a great game Manuel Neuer had between the sticks for us. No suspensions or injuries and we now have four players fast approaching rating up in Melendo, Michael Cuisance, Jakub Moder and Cody Gakpo which can only stand us in good stead as we go into the meat of the season.

          Good game Sam.

Next game is another home fixture, thus time we welcome Dave Gooch's Sunderland side.

Disappointing performance against the club bottom of the wages pile. We just cant put in a good performance this season. In terms of quality, Kroos should be the best player in the conference but it certainly isnt showing. If im still managing EOS he will no doubt be leaving to try and fund a rebuild. We probably need to do a little tweaking with the side and get Kroos further up the pitch.Boro up next who are having a little wobble after leading the table. Rumour is that the manager has lost the dressing room after the approaches from Stocko to take over were denied.

              Betis 1-0 Sociedad

Disappointing result for the visitors, who expected the A from Betis, but instead of either countering or playing our usual passing game, decided to try and match it and go for an exciting game. An early Betis goal however put paid to that idea.
Stats wise, we generally had the better of it, but just couldn't score today.
We had a middie out, but can't really blame that.
              Oh well, GG dude.
Still in a decent position in the table, for any prospective managers

                Wolves 5-2 PSV

"We went Attacking and they played the majority of the game in a European setup, normally this would mean we would take the game to them but somehow we conceded 4 of the 5 goals playing like this which is pretty lost on me to be honest, the teams a bit all over the place at the moment in terms of balance which we will hopefully settle down in the next couple of weeks, Wolves have been strong this season so going away from home there was always going to be difficult, we are going to forget about this one quickly as our lads threw the kitchen sink at them as much as they did to us, Neuer probably was the difference and we are not going to come up against the likes of his quality in 99% of league games this season"

                  Middlesbrough 1 - 2 Ajax

Back to back defeats to the teams around us shows that we're just not as good as we thought we were.

This one was a little out of my hands, with our GK being sent off with the first action of the game.

2 quick goals around the 20 minute mark put the game beyond us despite a second half goal from one of our subs.

We need to bounce back and fast, but our next game sees us without our GK and best DF so we know that'll be a tough one.

Statistically, despite being reduced to ten men, we were the better team so had we kept our 11th player, I think we'd have won this game.

                  Good game Alfredo.

                    FCP 1 - 0 Forest

Got the job done here today, we probably deserved it on stats and I am pleased with how this team is going. \pound for pound we aren't any better than the majority of teams in this division from a quick browse, so we are possibly over performing at the moment but we do have the minutes issues in terms of getting a million squad players their minimum minutes that are crazily set for them, that poses a big challenge. But so far so good for us.

                    Played Matty B.

                      Atalanta 2 - 3 Bristol City

Well, we won it. Reading the commentary it seemed more of a brawl half the time than a match and how there were no reds and only two yellows a piece I am not overly sure.

Tactically we did the best we could and that probably made enough of a difference and gave us a chance. That said, even with that we were behind on all the stats bar the one that really matters. Unlucky Tim, you don't seem to be able to buy a win at the moment but I don't believe that will the case for long.
