Napoli 3 - Monaco 1
Think we need to put this one down to just a bad day at the office. Napoli got themselves into a 3-0 lead very early in the match including 2 goals from Sadio Mane scoring their two in 4 minutes, the second after their manager instructed them to play in a more defensive style.
We brought on Chris Wood and 2 minutes later he scored his first of the season but we couldn't do anymore to trouble the Napoli goalkeeper.
I do see this as 3 points dropped, Napoli are a stronger attacking team than we are but we have a much stronger goalkeeper and should have benefitted more from that.
We've managed 1 point from a possible 15 and next up we face Real Madrid......
