Teamsheets MUST be in by 3pm on Game Day
BONANZA DETAILS COMING SOON
We were positive and went to attack Liverpool. Mainly due to our good results recently. Going into half time we were level and it was an end to end game.
Unfortunately, though we were unlucky to concede the next goal as if we’d scored a second I felt we could have taken something from the game. We actually had more shots on target than the home side. But after that got picked off chasing the game.
We have been lucky in other games so will take the rough with the smooth.
Aaaaaaaand we are back to normal after a game off of being screwed over
On this occasion it isn't the case that we battered them to be fair. It was a fairly even game, perhaps they possibly edged it? But a 4 - 1 game it absolutely was not. Am I surprised?? a million times no. So so boring to see it happen time after time and then have to waffle on and whinge about it time and time again.
They say that luck evens itself out over the season........ well FUCK ME, if it does we are going to have to have one hell of a jammy spell at some point soon. I would imagine though it will just be more of the same.
Wank as always
Season 2 Premier League Champions - Leeds
Season 2 Conference Champions - Porto
Well we got butchered by probably the best team in our league we just simply ain't good enough against teams like this we tried but failed but we pick up and go again in next game no shame in getting beat by the better side whatever the score so a big well done to Manchester City they were on point with the end product so a easy 3 points for them.
After losing to The Toffees midweek in CL, it was really nice to get a win in the league. We got a rare clean sheet and a goal from Nicola Barella was enough to take the win.
Really pleasing to see us being able to bounce back.
A tight game that saw Aston Villa create a few more chances than the home team but no complaints at the final score. first talking point was a sour one for Villa as they saw central defender Jamaal Lascelles dismissed before the half hour point for a harsh looking second yellow card. It was though shortly after the dismissal that Villa took the lead through the ever present Mo Salah. The owls pulled the tie back level on the stroke of half time and with both sides pushing through the second period neither of them could find a further breakthrough.
The score line tells the story, in what was a very tight game at the Bridge, against a stubborn Barnsley side. Richarlison settled it with his 8th goal of the season to send the Stamford Bridge faithful home happy with 3 very well earned points. A 1-0 win was about right for the home side as they finally overcome a very defensive Barnsley side. This win takes the blues up to third in the league, two points off the top, which the Saints occupy at the time of going to press. Good game mate.
I'm not surprised at this result. Actually I am surprised we didn't lose and hand Norwich their first win of the season. We usually give out free points for the lower placed teams. Norwich setup with 442 D and I knew we were in for a tough ride. It was made worse when somehow the D got them an opening goal in the first minute. Fortunately we spent the last few minutes attacking the canaries and it paid off with the leveller in the final minute. While I am happy to grab a point I still feel this should have been three for us.
A point if offered before the game started would have been a decent result for Arsenal and one they would have most probably grabbed with both arms when you take into account so to take a point from the game will be a welcomed result for The Gunners but they will be sitting back thinking should or could they have done more in a game that pretty much lasted forty five minutes.
The Arsenal gaffer spoke after the game ;
" Well I can only judge the game on the first half really before the error from Man Utd screwed the game up well and truly which is frustrating but easily done if you don't keep a check on what you're asking your players to do in the set up. A point is a great result when you look at the starts that both sides have had this season, we continue to perform well and truly under par and are now cut well adrift of the sides in which we feel we should be challenging ".
Can't complain with a point I suppose, in a fairly even game.
Both teams started with 5 at the back, and the visitors were countering too, so chances were somewhat limited.
Leicester had been enforced to make a change, with Powell out suspended, and at least looked a bit more solid at the back
We went a goal down, which brought about some tactical changes, which eventually pulled us back into the game, with Belotti getting on the end of a free kick. Off to Barnsley next, both teams will be hoping for a vital win to push them up the table.
GG dude
Pleased to have kept a cleansheet but I simply messed up my sheet and as a result the second half was unreadable and you can't comment on the game accurately.
”The gulf in class is crazy. We started defensively but once going behind (not until middle of the second half) we then brought the game to them a bit more. No complaints here, and we move on to our next game where we need to start picking up more points” Gg mate
We are going from strength to strength in this season, still punching well above our weight. The Liverpool faithful are dreaming once again for a return to the UCL after nearly reaching it last season. Stoke put up a good fight but were over run in the end.. maybe due to old age..
